MATEO MORGAN
CALL SIGN: SOLO
Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the U.S. Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.
MISSION RULES:
1.Kick everyone’s ass.
2.Do whatever it takes to win.
3.Do your best to distract the competition.
4.Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

GRANT HUGHES
CALL SIGN: PANTHER
Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.
MISSION RULES:
1.Keep it safe in the air.
2.Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3.No distractions. Stay focused.
4.Don’t fall for your competition—especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.
In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.
With passion this intense, the question remains:
Who’s gonna come out on top?
REVIEW:
As this is book 2 I was seriously very curious to what it would bring knowing it is a 3 book series. There is always the risk of it being a filler but that sooooooo didn’t happen. This book stands strongly on its own feet, setting a serious pace in Solo and Panther’s relationship and that I mean in the broadest sense of the word…relationship that is. It picks up right where Danger Zone left off and goes straight on.
I cannot deny it was delicious to meet up with these two men again. Both men wormed their way in my reading heart. That is courtesy of the strong writing of both authors. They have an unique way of drawing you into the world they create with the characters in it. Not just Solo and Panther but their friends as well. I mean, one of the best scenes was them all together playing. I love to read about their playfulness together. Houdini and Gucci as their best friends and I even smiled big time at Houdini trying to make way with Whiplash.
And then of course our main men, gosh they are seriously something else. They are so honest and real in my head. This second book makes it more real it seems. I love the nervousness, the insecurity, the arrogance, the possessive behavior, the honesty and the trust (you can figure out yourself what belongs to whom right 😉 Besides them being super hot together…and let’s face it they are burning up the pages, it is brilliant to know there is so much more there.
The ending oohhh damn that was seriously like cliffhanger worthy but not in a standard cliffhanger way if that makes sense. But oh how I want to know how that goes and what will happen. in a way I am also scared to read anything else that can and probably will happen in the final book.
That is the one thing I still regret in this, the cutting it up in more books, the waiting for the next and yes I know that we are lucky that there is only a month between releases but when you really are so involved in a book you want to continue reading towards the end. Where at the end you don’t want it to be the end and want to have the glorious feeling of picking up an amazing series that you can enjoy for the first time again…right…
On this book I can only say it is driven, sexy and seriously really good. It’s definitely not a passing between book. It continues from Danger Zone in a fast but very realistic, honest way with very much true emotions on the complete scale. I am so very excited and anxious to read book 3 and that is something I cannot say very often lately, So thank you for this.
