ELVIS AND JONAH RETURN IN A SASSY, SEXY VALENTINE’S DAY DRAMA (let’s face it, where there’s Elvis, there’s always going to be drama!)
Elvis is convinced that Jonah has a Valentine’s Day surprise all lined up, and he’s pretty sure he knows what it is.
Jonah does indeed have something spectacular arranged, and he knows that Elvis thinks he knows what it is. But he doesn’t.
Follow Elvis and Jonah’s entertaining journey from Kent Village Outlet Mall to Vegas where plenty of sinful shenanigans ensue. Elvis has packed his furry tail, (because he thinks they’re going to a CosPlay Con) and Jonah has packed something far more in keeping with Valentine’s Day (because he thinks Elvis will say, yes).
This short story will have you laughing, crying and reaching for the wipes.
REVIEW:
Ok, first of all I have to severely apologize to the author. I could have sworn I did this review, and then almost cried when I hadn’t because I absolutely ADORE Elvis. So I apologize for it being so long. But I have to say I’m so glad I got to read it, because it’s classic Elvis and he just made everything light, fun and exciting. There were a few tearful moments as well. But it was a spectacular story.
Jonah is wanting to do something perfect for Elvis and can’t figure out what would really be something over the top for his flashy, over-the-top fiance. He wants to show Elvis everything his heart desires, but for Valentine’s, which Elvis adores, it needs to be perfect. When an employee gives Jonah the idea, he knows now what he has to do and how he’s going to do it. It involves Vegas and Elvis thinks he knows what the surprise is, but he really has no clue. But as they are making their way to Vegas and while there, there are a few tense moments off and on and Elvis doubting himself. He thinks Jonah is going to get tired of him and his flashiness, in spite of them being engaged. But what Elvis doesn’t know, is Jonah wants Elvis for keeps and loves his quirky personality. That mix of masc and femme that only Elvis can seem to pull of beautifully. And Jonah is going to make sure his man knows how much his is treasured and adored in the ultimate Valentine’s day surprise.
It breaks my heart when Elvis doubts himself. He knows sometimes he can be too much or too over the top. He doesn’t mean to be, but he’s like the Energizer bunny on crack sometimes lol. His mouth works faster than his brain at moments, and that saying a lot, because his brain is always in overdrive. But for me, and thankfully Jonah, he’s perfect the way he is. Yes, he has his moments he goes a bit too far, but you can’t help love even those moments because he’s just beautiful regardless. He has such a passion and a flair for life and love and has brought out the best in Jonah. He’s brought Jonah to life in ways, Jonah himself never thought possible. And that makes him perfect. I was so so happy to read this and so happy to see how it ended. It was perfect in every way.
