Thank you so much Love Bytes for having me today. I’m really looking forward to 2020 and my first full-length series, Takoda Outreach Center. This is such a passion project, combining my love of writing with life’s essentials—food and shelter, mixed in with hope and love. The first in this series is about Jasper, a young homeless man I introduced in Heavenly Melody from A Snow Globe Christmas series. I’m excited to share the fullness of Jasper’s story, including how he ended up on the streets, the people he’s met on his journey, and the acceptance and helping hand he receives. Jasper’s: Takoda Outreach Center Book 1, will be out at the end of March, so keep an eye out!
Today though, I’d like to talk about the four book series I’ve been writing with Michele Notaro. We started this journey planning to write one book for a pre-made cover by the talented Tracey Soxie Weston of Soxsational Cover Art. We’d already written two Young Adult novels and one paranormal and thought it would be fun to work on a contemporary together. As we all know with characters, we weren’t even halfway through with book one, Heart Strain, when three of the supporting cast were demanding that they get their very own HEAs.
All of the men in this series have gripped our hearts in their own way, but Delaney and Aiden are special to me. Right off the bat, it’s their age gap. With the different life experiences they’ve had and Delaney’s age being a factor in how much he’s lived, I get a kick out of the dynamic between how they approach relationships. (Poor Aiden really doesn’t stand a chance.) That’s one of the reasons reading age gap is my personal favorite, whether in a good way or bad, when one person has more life under their belt, their perspective is colored by it. Aiden on the other hand is just special. He’s a police officer and a good son doing the right thing without regard to the personal cost. Gah. Delaney couldn’t have chosen a better man.
Liberating Love will be available on March, 12, 2020. I hope you’ve enjoyed this group of family and friends on their journey so far. If you haven’t started yet, please enjoy:
Heart Strain: Interlocking Fragments I (Jameson & Holden’s story)
Digging Deeper: Interlocking Fragments II (Hendrix & Gavin’s story)
Thank you for loving our men, and again, thank you so much Love Bytes for having me! Happy reading!!!
Liberating Love (Interlocking Fragments III) Blurb:
Aiden~
Finding out the man I slept with is my friend’s father is terrifying, but maybe forgivable since I didn’t know who he was… right? But falling into bed with him again… and again and again is probably not excusable. Maybe if Delaney got rid of his miles of muscles and stopped being so sweet to me, I could stop. I need to stop. If only I had the willpower—or the desire. Delaney is everything I want in a man, but we have no future together, so it can never be more than this. His sons can never find out.
Delaney~
Serving time for a crime I didn’t commit wasn’t in my game plan, but I’m out now and determined to live my best possible life. After hooking up with a hot younger man, I regret letting him go without even his name. But then luck is finally with me, and he comes walking into my son’s house. In order to make him mine, I have to be honest with my sons about the past as well as my desire for Aiden. But Aiden’s fear of getting involved is deeper than he’s telling me. He’s hiding something, too.
Will Aiden’s fear of revealing his private life and losing his friends keep him from the man who wants to be his everything or will he allow Delaney to help bear his burden?
Liberating Love is the third book in the Interlocking Fragments series, but is a standalone novel. Each book in the series will feature a different couple, but the couples will show up throughout the whole series. This is a contemporary romance intended for 18+.
Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.
These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.
