Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning.
After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: no talking, no names.
It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind. Those hands, those lips… But it was just a one-time thing, and I need to forget about him once and for all.
At least I know I won’t ever see him again—until I board a flight and catch sight of a familiar profile in the cockpit just as the door closes.
REVIEW:
It is always a pleasure seeing a book coming from the hand of this author and this one surely doesn’t disappoint.
This is a standalone novel but tbh can I just mention that there are some characters whose stories I’d love to have?
This story is a sexy and funny, slow building love story (you will get the slow burn mention when you read the book).
It is very easy to fall in love with both main characters. Teo and Jack, both in their own way capture your heart.
Despite of Teo being the good guy, the one who is in love with his best friend for ages, it was Jack who grabbed my heart completely. There is something about the guy that just made me swoon. So sweet, so gentle and so in denial in a way of what he really wants.
Teo thinks he is still pining for his best friend that he so wants to be more to. Jack thinks that as a pilot he doesn’t need commitment or a home base. But both men cannot get each other out of their minds and are wanting so much more then that one night.
From a one night stand to fake boyfriends, friends with benefits, etc. All the while, they can’t let each other go. It’s delicious!
When life has a wonderful way of throwing them together again, big things start to happen.
While I admit the Chris thing got on my nerves at a certain moment, I do think it needed to unfold the way it did.
As always kudo’s to Miss Lennox for the writing, the emotions and the ability to take you with her in the story she is spinning.
This is wonderful low angst, comfort read. It has some tension, definitely sexiness, two incredibly sweet men. Throw in their friends and family and a whole lot of love and it’s the perfect read.
Btw the epilogue is the most wonderful bonus!
Enjoy!
