When his best friend’s relationship with one of their team commanders was exposed. The world he had built fell apart and he drifted for years, taking one Government sanctioned job after another, until one man called him home, with a single short sentence, “Panther needs you.”
James “Frtiz” Blackwell, as a former Delta Force Commander, and leader of the team who rescued Matt Garrett in Afghanistan. He carries the guilt of having exposed Jonah and Matt’s relationship, causing their discharge and the reassignments of all Team Panther members. Now as more secrets are exposed and bullets start to fly once again, can he convince the stubborn man he loves that everyone deserves a second chance?
It is one thing to go to war for your country, it’s a whole different ball game when the ones you are fighting for are the ones you love more than life itself. After years of betrayals, backlash, and battles, everything Delta Force Team Panther has fought for is at stake, including the ones they love. Jason and Fritz will need to face the ghosts of their pasts and fight together to have the happy ever after they both crave, but are too stubborn to admit to.
Jason’s Justice is part of the Delta Force – Team Panther Series. While it can be read as a standalone… To ensure maximum enjoyment, it is best read in series order.
REVIEW:
When you become a member of a close-knit team, each and every member becomes a family. You live with them more than your own family, they become your chosen family. That is aside from the fact that when you Delta Force, you will always and forever be Delta Force!
When a secret comes out, we humans normally react according to what society has instilled in us, in this case, what our government and superiors have instilled in us. And most of the time, this reaction results to losing that family you chose to be with! Although Don’t Ask Don’t Tell got repealed, it destroyed a lot of people’s lives while it was in effect.
Team Delta Panther has been through a lot! A lot of betrayal, heartache, loss and relationships. But they have forged on, they are still intact after everything. Most of them anyway. And they are trying to go through all the secrets and betrayals one by one.
Fritz and Jason have had sexual liaisons through the years, but none more significant than the past two years. And although some form of stability has become of this “relationship,” still Jason believes he does not deserve to have what his brothers have, that of having someone who can love him for who he truly is! Both he and Fritz have set down in one place for the time being and after receiving an envelope containing facts that has left both of them bewildered, their family called on them one more time. This time, they had to divulge and react to intel that has been emailed to Jason. What follows would be revelations of secrets that will continue to unravel intricacies into relationships that they never knew existed.
The story of Fritz and Jason is one of the most painful and sweetest of the series, next to Matt and Jonah’s! The series is something that I will recommend because of the way it was written. The research that went into all these books is boggling my mind because I know it was not easy! Thank you Ms. Annabella Stone for a well-written series with Alpha male characters who love who they love and will go through anything and anyone to protect them and their family!
