MATEO MORGAN
CALL SIGN: SOLO
Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the U.S. Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.
MISSION RULES:
1.Kick everyone’s ass.
2.Do whatever it takes to win.
3.Do your best to distract the competition.
4.Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

GRANT HUGHES
CALL SIGN: PANTHER
Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.
MISSION RULES:
1.Keep it safe in the air.
2.Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3.No distractions. Stay focused.
4.Don’t fall for your competition—especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.
In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.
With passion this intense, the question remains:
Who’s gonna come out on top?
Danger Zone is book one of The Elite series and is not a standalone. Book two, Need for Speed, will release 3.27.20, followed by the final book, Classified, on 4.27.20.
REVIEW:
Damn! I mean seriously DAMN!
This book is a fantastic start to a new series. Should I be surprise? No not really, because this co authorship is pure gold as I might have mentioned before 😀
Each author is great on her own but together they are able to seriously come up with the best of the best.
With this new series both authors go up in to the sky literally and figuratively!
We follow Grant ( Panther) and Mateo (Solo) together with their teammates as they train to be the best of the best in fight pilots. With the Elite they will strive to be the number one.
The instant connection from the moment they meet and during the first weeks of training is very there! It’s sizzling, sparkling and electrifying and comes to a explosive peak near the end of book 1.
And boy do you want more. I sure want to! As a reader you immediately feel connected to both these men but also with their other trainees.
I love how the opposites attract in this one. The quiet, stealthy and impressive Panther and the cocky, slightly arrogant and hyperactive Solo.
Also their friends seem to be a hoot and I hope we get to see more of them as well 🙂
One of the absolute highlights for me in this new series book was the humor. I seriously was laughing out loud at moments. You know there will be flawless writing, chemistry, some serious hotness but the humor was stellar.
The only thing that for me was a downer was the cliffhanger! I just don’t like that and is one of the reasons why I normally wait till a whole series is done before starting it. Of course I was so excited to read and review this series that I jumped in right away. Now I’m desperately waiting for the next book in the series!
There is nothing more to say than we are off to a great start, I just wish there wasn’t a month between the releases 😉
