REVIEW:
Being in a three-way relationship could spell complications and misunderstandings. Can three people from different backgrounds make a go of their relationship? What could these three possibly have in common?
Pilot, ex-army, is a bodyguard who fights underground for money in order to fulfill a longtime dream with his friend, Johnny.
Tate has been one of the talents to watch out for in Supercross, brilliant but always overshadowed by other superstar riders like Davey McAllister. He has been racing for sometime, does not really have any family, and has an ex-boyfriend who just broke up with him.
Bryce is a new talent, hungry with a great potential. He breathes motorcycle racing since he was very very young, thus he was homeschooled so he could concentrate on it.
Tate and Pilot are still getting used to being together as a couple, and now they do not know how they feel about young Bryce. Both of them feel something but at the same time they also feel a bit apprehensive and guilty being a new couple and not sure how this has come to happen. I think what they have in common is the need to belong, their need for family and for people to understand who they truly are.
This love story deals with homophobia, bullying, and I think there was some forced sex that comes as a result of bullying, which happened in the past. It tells us how three people found their way to each other and ultimately found somewhere to belong. A Poly relationship is not unusual nowadays but there are still a lot of people who question its solidity and faithfulness, but if you love someone or two someones, that is entirely up to you. If it is what makes you happy, then you can make it happen.
This is a bittersweet tale but there are also a lot of loving, friendship, and new family. Sometimes family does not involve any blood connection at all, just pure love, acceptance, understanding and being there for each other no matter what!
A lovely second installment into the lives of our Supercross Superstars and the loves of their lives! Congratulations!
