What’s up Love bytes viewers? Can you believe it’s already 2020? It’s very surreal just how fast the past decade flew by, and how much has changed over those 10 years. It’s been nearly 7 years since I published my first book, Opposites, and almost 5 since I published the first book in the All Cocks stories, the series that really put me on the map with readers. Over the years I’ve learned so much and continually worked to better myself as an Author, to create books and stories that truly resonated with readers. So, I’ve decided to pull all of the All Cocks stories. Revise, add additional content, rebrand and rerelease this series. At the moment I’m putting everything else on hold while I dive into this adventure fervently. The last couple of books I released weren’t as well received as my novels in the past, which caused me to do some self reflection in aspects to my craft. I feel like I need to go back and remember what started me on the path to becoming an Author in the first place, to get reacquainted with the characters I created that reached out and pulled you guys, my readers, into the books.
Right now all 7 books in the All Cocks stories are on sale for 99 cents through January 31st. They will then be pulled from sale everywhere (except for Audible, that’s another paragraph entirely!). I’m changing the name of the series as well, the new series will be titled ‘Stories from the Sound’. This is a play off of Victor, Andrew and Mattie, the three fearless leaders of All Cocks INC. and their home in Mamaroneck which is on the water of Long Island Sound. In fact, the sound is the backdrop for several situations within the series. Not only do I want to rework the stories of this amazing group of men that have become a family that I created in my mind, I want to capture a new audience of readers as well. Hence, the changes. Each book will still be known as ‘An All Cocks INC. novel’ and I’m going to incorporate the new managing title ‘Dimir LLC.’ into the stories as well. All of the individual titles will remain as they were originally released, with new covers, new branding and a new series logo. Book 1, Gay for Pay, is scheduled for rerelease on April 1st 2020 with each book in the series being rereleased on the 1st day of each month to follow (tentatively!). Rhys Ethan of Ethereal Designs-Covers by Rhys is hard at work creating new imaging for the series and I already have book 1 to show you. I love the backdrop, the skyline of NYC at night, and the new logo in the top right corner. I’m so very excited to go back and start the journey with Chris and Linc as they meet and fall in love with some additional chapters and revised content.
What does this mean for Chaos Magician? That story is still in the works. I was hitting road blocks while writing though. And one thing I’ve learned over the past seven years is don’t force a story. If you do, the readers will know and won’t be as invested in the book or the characters. So, as things come to me I’m flipping over to the Chaos Magician file and jotting it all down. My writing process is going to be to get the first 3 books for Stories from the Sound ready for rerelease, then go back and hopefully finish Chaos Magician, then continue to work on the other Sound books as I get each one cleaned up. I also plan on having 2 more books in the All Cocks universe to wrap everything up. Truth or Consequence, Jacob and Tommy, and Happily ever After will be the final book for the men of All Cocks INC.
