Jamie is a wedding photographer in need of a break, and a sexy freelance assignment on the East Coast sounds like an intriguing getaway. He makes his flight to Vintage Ridge just before an epic storm wreaks havoc on holiday travel. But when his friend is delayed, Jamie finds himself alone at the bed-and-breakfast for the night with the owners’ son…a hunky contractor with a wicked smile and a commanding presence. Not a problem. Jamie can handle light conversation with a ruggedly handsome man for a few hours. Maybe. If all else fails, he can read the script.
Wyatt loves remodeling old homes like his parents’ B and B. Spending an evening entertaining their guest while he finishes up his project doesn’t seem like a big deal, but Wyatt can tell there’s something special about the nervous younger man. He suggests reading the racy script that accompanies Jamie’s assignment to get his mind off the weather, but neither is prepared for what happens next. Their explosive attraction encourages them to bend the rules and stick to their own script…together.

REVIEW:
This is one sexy, sexy story. Of course, any chance to go visit Ace’s Wild, just makes it that much better, but it was getting way sexy before they even got there. It’s got heat for sure. And there’s a pun there you’ll see once you read it lol.
Jamie is kind of ready for this photo shoot his friend wants to do. But he’s not read the script yet, so no telling what will happen with this photo shoot. Of course, he may never get to take photos if he can’t quit drooling over the owners’ son, Wyatt. But the storm is making him jumpy and scared and to put him at ease, Wyatt decides to read the script with Jamie so he can get a feel for what he will be doing. But the script is heating up more than the room and is making Jamie act in ways he’s never done. And Wyatt is letting him be free to do so. When the storm continues, Jamie’s friends and the models can’t fly there, and that B&B gets a lot hotter. But things have had a way of popping up during this time as well, that are making things a bit uneasy. Especially when it’s time for Jamie to go home. Can they actually go their seperate ways or are the going to do like they said and finally follow their dreams?
When I say this is a sexy story, I mean it. It’s definitely got a heat rating and that’s before they even make it to Ace’s Wild. Not counting what happens after they go. But what I love about this story, is for the first time in Jamie’s life, he finally found someone, albeit a stranger, that he feels free enough to just explore and venture into a side of him he never has before. He finally feels free to do so. Wyatt keeps him so at ease, or can be the daddy/dom type to take charge and take over so Jamie can just feel. It’s a new experience for Jamie. Part of him is freaked, which is understandable. But what makes it better is Wyatt. Wyatt simply sets his fears at ease. He’s open and honest and up front with things he says or does or how he feels. Which makes Jamie ok. He can relax. So I love the chemistry these two have. And it’s an intimacy as well. Which is very special. Anyone can just screw around and move on, but to be intimate, is a whole other story.
It’s the perfect fit with the rest of the Ace’s Wild books. More to add to the family that Ace and Wilder have seem to adopted. In a way. It’s been fun reading this series. And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.
