USA TODAY bestselling authors Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank continue the story of sexy Fallen Angel rockers Killian and Levi in LUST. HATE. LOVE.
As the sexy, charismatic bassist for world-famous rock band Fallen Angel, whatever Killian Michaels wants, Killian Michaels gets.
Or at least that was the case until the band’s gorgeous new manager, Levi Walker, shot him down after a blistering first kiss.
For Levi, managing these five guys is the opportunity of a lifetime, and he’s not about to let a case of sexual desire get in his way. He’s efficient, professional, and plays by the book. But tension simmers beneath Levi’s cool exterior every time Killian’s near, and soon enough the passion boils over, consuming them both.
As the Corruption tour takes them from country to country, a heated game of cat and mouse ensues. Levi tries to deny the irresistible pull of Killian’s seductive nature, but with an attraction as strong as theirs, it’s only a matter of time before the lust-filled hate turns to love.
LUST. HATE. LOVE. is the fourth book of the Fallen Angel Series and follows a new couple in the band. It can be read as a standalone or following ANGEL.
REVIEW:
Having read and reviewed the first three books in this series, I can honestly say I was dying to read Killian and Levi’s story!
And boy I wasn’t disappointed I can tell you that! This story has everything you can ask for in a novel. There is trepidation, drama and friendship-sexiness, misunderstanding and fighting and so much love! If I have to name just a few things.
The built up is surprisingly slow as the authors work up to bringing Killian and Levi together. There are very valid reasons and I have to say in my opinion it only made the story development better.
It made it even the more sweet when they finally give in to what they themselves and we as readers have been sensing from the very beginning when they met.
Of course it isn’t all smooth sailing as you can expect but the drama is not overwhelming and works in perspective to the rest of the story.
The addition of the other band members is an extra added layer (not spoilering here but those who read the bonus story will know). Of course the off the chart connection and chemistry between Viper and his Angel (Halo) makes it just even more nice to continue reading, smiling and loving.
I have to say I wish I could be there for a performance of these guys to hear their songs and feel their emotions 😉
Raving a bit more as I feel like I kind of have been doing that in this review, both authors knocked it out of the park with this book.
The writing is as we have come to expect – flawless and flowing and the storytelling keeps you interested and involved from start to finish.
To be honest I have been searching for a critical note but their isn’t anything that comes to mind. Besides wishing it would have been longer perhaps? Reading the very fulfilling epilogue, there is a mention there that I wish we could have read together with the songs on the new album etc. It makes me hope the authors will treat us with perhaps a short bonus on that special occasion mentioned.
This story had everything for me to keep me reading and finally brought a smile while reading a book that I have been missing for a while so thank you for that! It was exactly what I needed.
