People grow and change, hoping that it will always be for the better. Sometimes the things we were doing could be because of financial needs or it was what we wanted to do at that time. But dreams do change as we grow and gain experience.
For those who have followed this series, we have seen a lot of the members of this motorcycle club made changes to make their lives better. Maybe at that time they wanted to make the changes, they weren’t sure if they were going to be good at it, but they had the courage to take the first step, no matter how hard at times. Much like in real life, changes do make us wary and second-guess ourselves. But we have to keep in mind that there will always be risks involved when we do decide to make the change. Always!
Nick has been helping in the merging of his cousin’s porn company with that of Blaze’s, the leader of the Hedonist Motorcycle Club. Now he works for Cane to reinvent and legalize the company owned by his family. He has always acted like a Diva, especially when he was the Personal Assistant to Jeo or “Hung” during his porn days.
Jeo or “Hung” as he is called when he performs porn has been quietly making changes in his personal life for the past year. He has been quiet about it because he still wasn’t sure he’d like it. He knows that when people look at him, they think he is just out for a “good time” and never serious. He is tired of that, he wants to be more! Do not judge a book by its cover as they say because sometimes what we can see does not automatically translate into what’s inside. Sometimes, we have a facet of our being we show people, and we hide who we really are inside. People have preconceived notions about Jeo because of his lifestyle, and maybe there are some truth in it to a certain level, but deep down inside, he is trying to just find what is missing in his life, too.
I love this series, not just because of the story lines but especially because of the characters. They are not perfect but they try to be as special to the people who love and accept them. They are perfect in their imperfections, especially for those who love them for who they are. Ms. Rebecca James lets you feel each and every character, and I think that is the main reason you will love them!
