REVIEW:
This one tugged at my heart, painfully!
Parents are supposed to love their children unconditionally and sexual orientation should not be a factor for giving that love. But unfortunately, in the real world, some parents do take it as a factor for their love. As a parent, I am willing to go above and beyond in order to make sure that my children are treated equally no matter what their sexual preferences are regarding their partners.
This is a very short but sweet, low-angst love story of two men who couldn’t make it work in the past, due to their young age, peer pressure and rejection. Can they have another chance now that they are adults? Our lives can be taken away just like that, we have to make a choice whether we are willing to put our hearts on the line for the person we truly love, no matter who they are!
I love the story and how it was told Ms. Dakota Storm, too short though! I love the blending of the present and the recollection of what happened in the past based on Gabe’s point of view. I am looking forward to more.
