Everywhere Aiden goes, he sees the same handsome stranger—and promptly makes a klutzy, ridiculous fool of himself. Over and over again, their crossing paths spell humiliating doom for poor Aiden.
Jason is intrigued by the lanky brunet he keeps chancing upon, and the more he learns the more he wants to properly meet the guy. When they do finally meet, groceries—and hearts—go flying, but can they turn their never-ending meet-cute into something real?
REVIEW:
Aiden keeps seeing “Hot Guy” around his neighborhood. He also gets caught ogling 🙂 Jason has definitely noticed Aiden – or as he names him “Stalker Panther” – all over the place. They like the same coffee place, the same farmer’s market, the same grocery, etc. They see each other and smile and make eyes at each other, but never actually meet. After Aiden once again trips and falls in front of Jason, the next time he sees him, Jason invites himself to join Aiden.
Even after Jason makes the first move, Aiden still runs away. Aiden’s best friend forces them together at some point and Jason continues to force his way into Aiden’s life. They finally go on a real date and that seems to finally break the ice. They continue dating and over time, things move to the next level, meeting friends and family officially. It’s a very sweet and normal romance progression of two adorable guys.
This is the first story I’ve read by this author. This is a very sweet romance – low on angst. There is no on-page sex, but plenty of kissing 🙂 Aiden and Jason are so cute as they work through Aiden’s awkwardness and nerves. Jason has to work to get Aiden’s attention and keep him from running scared. Aiden feels like he’s made a fool of himself too many times in front of Jason, so why would he want to go out with him? Jason thinks he’s adorable and is definitely worth the effort, so he keeps up his pursuit and doesn’t let Aiden give in to his nerves. Jason’s family is very cute and supportive as well. Aiden’s friends and colleagues are also encouraging and that is definitely needed since Aiden is reluctant to go for what he wants. All in all a very cute story and a pleasant read.
