JMS Books’ Trios are themed collections of three gay romance stories by a trio of authors. Each story is available separately, but readers can get all three for a discounted bundle price.
Legendary Loves Volume 2 contains three paranormal shifter M/M romances just in time for Halloween! Contains the stories:
In My Arms Again by Nell Iris: Oxen is lonely, feeling like he’s waiting for something, and can’t focus. But when a very ill stranger collapses on his doorstep, everything changes. The stranger, Vinge, is a Pegasus unable to transform. Both men feel an instant connection that swiftly grows deeper. The questions surrounding Vinge are many. Why is he so familiar? What will it take for the depth of their connection be revealed?
The Murky Depths by Kassandra Lea: Tired of the daily grind of his job, Keston heads out for a weekend at his family’s cabin in Kona Woods. Turns out he isn’t alone, though, as there are others lurking in the shadows. When a near-death experience brings Ness waltzing into his life, everything Keston thought he knew is turned upside down. Will facing what scares him bring to Keston’s life what it’s missing most?
Weekend at Bigfoot’s by Addison Albright: There’s nothing about perky — twinky? — Oliver Hughes that would make Sensational News’ (Never Fake! We Swear!) reporter Wilson Banks think Bigfoot actually exists. But while pursuing soundbites for a tabloid story about Bigfoot, Wilson witnesses something he wasn’t meant to see. In Wilson’s new reality, is there room for love with someone whose dreams are as big as his … er … feet?
REVIEW:
This is a good little anthology or collection of stories. They aren’t long stories, but they are packed with fun, love, hope and a little magic. Each story brings it own set of good characters that are fun and exciting in their way. The writing is fun and magical and something to curl up with on any day to have a happy read. They each have an HEA that just makes your heart happy for all involved. Even if the circumstances getting there aren’t always great. It’s a good read and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Trapped in a growing sense of restlessness, Oxen the hunter is lonely. Feeling like he’s waiting for something—or someone—he’s unable to focus on getting ready for winter. But when a handsome and very ill stranger collapses on his doorstep, everything changes.
Vinge is from a Pegasus family but has never been able to transform. As soon as he awakens in Oxen’s care, both men feel an instant connection, which grows deeper as Oxen nurses him back to health. Something profound within each man calls out to the other, but neither knows what it is.
The questions surrounding Vinge and their deepening relationship are many. Why is Vinge so familiar to Oxen when they have clearly never met? Why are they both reluctant to take the first step to a real commitment? And what will it take for the true depth of their connection be revealed?
REVIEW:
Some people believe in reincarnation, some don’t. I don’t think I do, but I don’t judge anyone who does. My biggest concern with it, would be if the person I loved was my soul mate for all of my lives. Knowing that someone was out there, or a sense of something you can’t quite figure out. That constant restlessness of just not knowing. It would make me crazy.
Oxen is feeling that way. He is constantly restless, like something is going to happen, but who knows what. When late one cold, winter night, someone bangs on his door. He helps the stranger in, giving him teas and things to help his fever and keep him warm. Taking care of him, feeding him and helping him back to health. But the more he gets to know this man, Vinge, the more he knows he knows this man. He even knew the man’s name without him saying it. But how he knows, he can’t figure out. All he knows now is he wants Vinge in his life. He loves coming home from a hunting day to Vinge at home, knowing what he needs before he even says it. And when it comes time for them to make that next step, to maybe bond and commit to each other, they are both a bit nervous. But it’s time. And the truth of everything is revealed. Along with a change that has been long overdue.
This was such a sweet story. I love pretty much anything Nell writes. She has a way of bringing such life to her characters and such a realness to them, even if they happen to be very fictional. It’s a beautiful story of hope and love, even in the midst of pain and turmoil. Of home and happiness and a feeling of finally belonging. It’s a very sweet story and I love it so much.

While Keston enjoys his occasional video game tournaments with the kid across the hall, he’s grown tired of the daily grind of his job. With a bit of a push from his boss, he heads out for a weekend at his family’s cabin in Kona Woods. A little time away from the hustle and bustle sounds like just the thing he needs.
Turns out he isn’t alone, though, as there are others lurking in the shadows. When a near-death experience brings Ness waltzing into his life, everything Keston thought he knew is turned upside down, and he runs in fear.
But will facing what scares him bring to Keston’s life what it’s missing most?
REVIEW:
What if, in your life, you found out things like the Loch Ness Monster and other things like Bigfoot were real? Would you run screaming or accept them and just move on like nothing has changed?
For Keston, his job is getting too much. His boss suggests he takes some time off and he goes to his family’s cabin in Kona woods. What he doesn’t know is he’s being watched constantly. By things he never knew of. When his parents call to make sure he’s ok, the looks they keep giving each other tells him something is going on that they are not sharing and when he finally finds out, he freaks. This can’t possibly be true. After he’s home for a bit, Ness comes hunting him down and forces him to really look at what is real and what isn’t. And makes him say it. Then causes him to realize, he’s finally found a place where he feels at home and like he belongs. And a place where he can finally breathe. Back in Kona. Now if everyone else can accept him being there……
Finding the love of your life is a wonderful thing, I’ve heard. But when the love of your life is a tad different from you and all you know, it tends to leave you a bit leery at first. But…if you love someone truly, you accept everything about them. Warts and all. And that’s what Keston had to learn. Life isn’t always black and white. There’s a lot of gray in between and you have to be willing to see it.

It wasn’t supposed to be REAL! Bigfoot doesn’t actually exist. Yetis, shifters, creatures of the night … none of those exist. Right? Right?
There’s nothing about perky — some might even say twinky — Oliver Hughes that would make a skeptic like Sensational News’ (Never Fake! We Swear!) reporter Wilson Banks think otherwise. But while pursuing soundbites for a tabloid story about Bigfoot, Wilson witnesses something he wasn’t meant to see.
In Wilson’s new reality, is there room for love with someone whose dreams are as big as his … er … feet?
This fun novella has a paranormal twist, a hint of mystery, and a flavorful dollop of romantic comedy. Mix it all together for a satisfying HEA!
REVIEW:
The rumors of Bigfoot sightings over the years just grow and grow. Most we know are a huge hoax. Someone trying to get their 15 minutes of fame and such. But what if there really is a Bigfoot? And he’s a shifter?
Wilson was dreading this trip to interview people about Bigfoot. He knows it false but some of the people who he is supposed to interview are claimed to be people with a good head on their shoulders and ones to never lie or make things up. They truly believe in what they saw. He kind of passed it off as nonsense until he spoke to two people. And their stories really made him think. He explained it to one of the B&B owners he was getting to know that weekend. And shared his theories in that time. But bringing it up brought up the death of a relative during that time and it wasn’t something they dwelt on. So he kind of kept it to himself and enjoyed the rest of his time with Oliver. But as he was getting ready to go, he realized he had left his phone in Oliver’s car. He went to find it with his locater app and what he found instead would shock him to his roots. Seems Oliver had a huge family secret and Wilson just found it out. But can he live with what he found out? Especially when he knows Oliver really wants to come to Chicago as well and start a new life?
It’s another one of those sweet stories where when you learn someones’s secrets, you have to accept them if you truly love them. Everyone has something about them that may not be perfect in someone else’s eyes, but unconditional love means excepting that part of them, regardless. And Wilson learned real quick, he still was falling for the man he met with the multicolored hair and bright personality. Regardless of what family secret he had. He was still Oliver and for Wilson, that’s all that mattered.

These books all sound very interesting, not what I usually read. I am very intrigued and may give them a chance.
You should! They’re not very long stories and they’re light fun reads. Nothing too serious. Maybe a bit of angst here and there but it’s just fun. And brings the magic of myths and fairy tales to life.
