Synopsis
A B&B owner takes on a posh hotel developer in this enemies-to-lovers story with plenty of South Florida heat.
The grudge match is set to get nasty.
Wesley and Nathan are willing to pull out all the stops to achieve their dreams.
They just never expected the heat between them to carry over to the bedroom.
After one reckless night burning up the sheets, Wes and Nathan can’t stay away from each other.
But is there any hope of them having their happily ever after when it means someone has to give up his dream?
All For Wesley is a standalone enemies-to-lovers MM romance with sneaking, spying, family troubles, helpful movie stars, one poorly timed hurricane, and all the feels.
“Looking for me?” Someone purred right in his ear.
Wesley jumped and gave an undignified scream. Holy fuck!He knew that voice. The remains of his drink sloshed out of his cup and onto the people in front of him. He profusely apologized to the angry and now alcohol-damp people, while trying to avoid looking at the person behind him until he had a good response.
Nathan had found him. And his brain was coming up with no witty replies.
“Sorry about that,” Nathan said over his apologies, his voice deep and smooth. “I startled my friend.”
Okay. That gave him something. They were definitely notfriends. Wesley spun around, intent on telling him exactly that, but Nathan was leaning down so their faces were only inches apart when he turned, and there was a knowing, wicked smile on those perfect lips.
“Looking for me?” Nathan repeated. His voice sounded even more smug the second time around—if that was at all possible.
“Of course not! My life doesn’t revolve around you. I came out with a friend for some drinking and dancing. You know, fun stuff.”
“Really? Fun stuff?” Nathan smirked and Wesley wanted to wipe the expression off his face. Though, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to kiss it or punch it away. Of course, considering how close he was standing, Wesley could feel his body heat and smell his cologne. His own body was leaning toward kissing the smirk away. “I didn’t think you were into fun stuff. All work.”
“Oh, I know fun stuff. I could curl your toes with the fun stuff I know.”
Even in the relative darkness of the club, Wesley could see the way Nathan’s eyes dilated with fresh interest. His tongue flicked out, wetting his lower lip. Wesley’s libido was demanding to know why they were still talking. He should be showing Nathan all the so-called fun stuff he knew.
“And where’s your friend?” There was no missing the skepticism in his voice.
Wesley groaned. “He found a playmate for the night at the last club and left.”
Nathan’s expression turned serious in a flash and he straightened a little. He took a step closer, and Wesley couldn’t help but take a step backward. “He left you alone?” There was a hint of anger in Nathan’s voice that was extremely confusing.
“Yeah, I told him to.”
“He shouldn’t have left you alone. How are you getting home?”
“What the hell? You’re alone, aren’t you? I can take care of myself just fine. I don’t need anyone protecting me. Just because I’m not built like your beefcake gym rat doesn’t mean I’m helpless,” Wesley snapped. It was stunning how fast Nathan could make him lose his temper. Before meeting Nathan, Wesley would have said he was totally even-keeled and rarely lost his temper. Nathan had changed all that.
A small smile played across Nathan’s lips for a moment, but he grew serious again when he leaned closer and said, “Everyone needs someone watching their back.”
Wesley made a show of looking around the club. “Really? You got your lawyers lurking in the shadows somewhere, watching out for you?”
He instantly regretted his snarky comment as he watched the amusement drain from Nathan’s face to be replaced by the same coldness he saw almost every time they spoke.
