REVIEW:
A cute little story. Reminds me of the show ‘The Amazing Race’, I think it’s called. But in this one there’s a twist. Taylor and Adam wet attracted to each other, but being on different teams, they knew they wouldn’t get to see each other much. Until the twist took effect.
Adam or Taylor, either one, hadn’t wanted to do this competition. Adam’s best friend, Anderson begged him to but he just wanted to stay home and read. But for his best friend, he agreed. Taylor had just wanted to work, especially for them just getting their business off the ground. But his sister, Jess, was determined, so he agreed. Having seen each other at the photo shoot, they couldn’t get enough of looking at each other. Taylor had even dragged Adam off on his own and almost kissed him, until they got caught by his sister. When the twist to the show cam about, they were shocked. Instead of being with his best friend and Taylor with his sister, they were paired together and Anderson and Jess were paired together. They had to switch team members. For Taylor and Adam it was good and bad. They were competitive and worked hard to stay in the running, but their attraction to each other was getting to them. When they finally acted on their passion, they both realized their feelings for each other were getting stronger. But when this was all over, how would they stay together when they lived in different states?
It’s a sweet slow burn story about the attraction between these two men. As they do the show and the competition, they spend a lot of time getting to know each other. Even the bad pasts that often left Taylor with nightmares. And Adam was there ready to comfort him. When Adam got sick during one of their tests, Taylor didn’t want to leave him but made sure he was cared for before he did. The feelings were there. They cared for each other. The only problem with them was the distance. But anything worth having was worth working for. They did all they could to see each other until they ended up with the ultimate solution. And it was perfect.
It’s a good slow burn love story for when you need that non angsty story. It’s a sweet romance.
