True love is the only magic Sean has ever wished for…
After being rescued from a vicious gang of thieving swans by fellow swan shifter Kellan, Sean is starting over in the magical town of Vale Valley. Despite being so young, he aches to find his Alpha so he can begin his forever after. And once he’s spent lots of time with Kellan and Vic’s adorable hatchling, he also dreams of having an egg of his very own.
Avi is Vale Valley’s recently hired fire chief and an eagle shifter. He can’t keep his eyes off the blond cutie who’s a server at the Vale Valley Inn restaurant, but he’s so busy with his job. In addition, he’s much older than the delectable Sean. Avi decides he should probably just behave and keep his wings to himself.
Sometimes all a fated mate needs is a swift kick in the ass. When Sean repeatedly fails to convince Avi they were meant to be, he enlists the help of his new friends. Too bad there’s an old enemy skulking around who can’t wait to ruin everything…
Note: A Swan’s Love Song is the fourth book in Season 3 of the Vale Valley series. Each installment of the series can be enjoyed without reading the others. However, reading A Swan for Christmas and A Hatching for Valentine’s from Seasons 1 & 2 would add to the enjoyment of this book. This mpreg, age gap romance novella features a swan and eagle who are fated mates and struggling to figure out this whole love thing. So grab a tall, cool glass of lemonade, put your feet up and enjoy a sweet dose of smexy mpreg.
A Summer Romance.
REVIEW:
When I met Sean from the season 1 I think it was, I felt so bad for him and Kellan. Kellan’s brother was a horrible shifter and did very evil things. He kidnapped Sean and killed his family and that’s just a mild taste of what he’s done. So I was happy to see that he was going to get a happily ever after himself.
After seeing Avi at Kellan and Vic’s wedding and birth of Eric, Sean pretty much knew that Avi was his mate. At a later time, he was positive. But he was so nervous around Avi, that he acted a mess. And Avi always seemed to be pushing him away. He tried to follow Kellan’s advice and make the first move, but it backfired and then he didn’t see Avi for a while. But someone had put a boot up Avi’s behind, so to speak, and made him realize what he was doing and missing out on. So Avi let go and accepted. And got the most beautiful person he ever met. He never wanted to let Sean go. But the past has a way of sneaking back up on you at unexpected times and when you least expect it. And Kellan’s brother, Finn and his gang, were it. Finn tied to kidnap Sean again, fighting the whole time. If now Avi and Vic and everyone else can get to him in time to save him and their little egg he was carrying.
Sean needed a good happy ending. Finn is just the worst of the worst. And Finn trying to kidnap Sean again just goes to show how awful his is. He didn’t care Sean was mated or anything. He was just taking what he wanted. And that hurt me for Sean. He had been through enough pain already. But he had Avi now and Avi would protect him and fight to the death if need be. No one messed with his Omega. I was happy to see Sean mate with Avi too, because it broke my heart that Avi thought he was too old for family now. Especially with Sean being so young. They were perfect for each other. Fate mated them and finally they had a home in each other.
Such a good little story.
