REVIEW:
This was just a beautiful little story. I bawled like a baby. The letters got me.
When Jean-Paul and Dorian were young, 10, they became pen pals. Over the years, they became best friends. They shared each other’s first kiss, secrets and other things. But things almost broke them apart when Dorian’s mom died. But he tried again to write his best friend and get that connection back. Now years later, they are married. Things are going well, but they still have some obstacles ahead. And hopefully, they will weather the storm again instead of folding.
When I read these two from the New York book, it kind of gave it away they were married. But in this book you get to see how they got started. How their lives began. And what kept them going. They have a LGBT center for kids. We find out how and why that got started. And there are two new things that are about to rock their world. But after what they’ve been doing all day, I think they’ve got it. And no, it’s not sexual. But it will make you cry.
Another good little story.
