Can a casual encounter turn into more?
Isaac’s trip to New York just before Christmas had a single purpose, learn as much about running an LGBTQ Youth Center as possible and take it back to his native Portugal.
Max’s love of the Christmas season was only surpassed by his job and a nurse and volunteering at his friends’ LGBTQ Youth Center in New York.
A rescue.
A day out in the Big Apple.
A pull neither can resist.
Isaac didn’t count on needing to be rescued by a strapping brown-eyed nurse.
Max didn’t count on Christmas coming early in the shape of a curly-haired man with the most bewitching pair of eyes.
With time running out, will Max and Isaac give in to their attraction? Can it be more than a holiday fling?
Made In New York is a MM romance short story with themes of instant attraction and plenty of steam. The story has a happy for now ending, which concludes in Made In Manhattan with a HEA. Made In New York is better enjoyed as part of the series.

REVIEW:
This is a sweet little story on how it got starts with Max and Isaac. Originally, Portugal was supposed to be book 1 I think and this was added and it changed, so we are getting a start on some other relationships that are ongoing in this book. Like Dorian and Jean-Paul.
It’s a sweet story though. With a little drama thrown in to make it even more interesting. Isaac is at a conference at the lgbtq center where Max is speaking when he steps out to take a phone call. It’s a happy day because he now has a baby niece. But just as he’s about to go back to the conference room, he’s trapped in the art room and smoke is coming in fast. There’s a fire somewhere and he’s trapped. He’s banging for help for all he’s worth but the smoke is getting to him and he passed out. Thankfully, Max goes in search and finds Isaac and rushes him out in time. At the hospital, they realize they have a chemistry. Even more so, when they spend the day and night together. But Isaac has to go home, back to Portugal and the tears they are shedding are heartbreaking. Max doesn’t want to lose what he just found and he doesn’t know what to do.
Like I said, it’s a little angsty, but it’s really sweet. Two people who were but weren’t looking found something in each other and they don’t want to lose it. Long distance relationships are hard as hell, especially when it’s different countries. So both are sobbing over having to leave each other. It felt like love at first sight for them. You don’t find that kind of chemistry every day. So we will have to see what happens in book 4.
