When Cash scans the orientation room he wasn’t expecting to find sexy hazel eyes locked onto him. Eyes of the handsome Detective Leonidis “Leo” Day.
Leo is charming, witty, hilariously sarcastic and the only one that can make Cash smile. He’s proud, out, and one bad-ass detective.
Together, Cash and Leo become the most revered and successful narcotics detectives Atlanta’s ever seen. Able to communicate and understand each other, without even having to voice it, they quickly climb up the promotional ranks.
When Cash saves Leo’s life in a raid that turns deadly, Leo begins to see something in the big man that no one else does…something special. But Leo fears he’ll never break through the impenetrable wall that protects Cash’s heart.

REVIEW:
So, if you’ve not read this series, you’ve been missing out. This audiobook (book) is the first in the series and it introduces God & Day.
God is just Awesome!! God is big, tattooed and just Badass!!! God loves his job and is really amazing at it. God is a good man whose younger life was just HELL. His stepfather was Horrible and treated him like shit. His mother and brother don’t know what happened to him and as things happened, that led to estrangement between them. God knowing that his family is struggling, he supports them on his cop salary…which means he’s basically poor. I really liked that even though his mother and brother hate him…family is really important to him. That he’d take care of them and live the way he does…is a shitty apartment in a terrible neighborhood just to support them…that really made me like him all the more.
Day…I liked his wit and humor. I liked that he LOVED his job and his partner. I liked that he’s openly gay and makes no qualms about it. Day is a good cop who cares about the job that he does. That he wants to be the best at being a cop and a good man. He’s got this great heart and I Love that he listens to jazz and the meaning behind his love of jazz. Day makes me laugh…a lot!! The way he conducts himself…I mean, I felt that we could be good friends,
A.E. does a great job in bringing these characters to life. The way that you just fall into the story and just get swept away. I liked that A.E. made these characters so very relatable and that you could see their growth throughout the book.
I know that some people really hated the amount if sexy times, but I felt she did a great job of when they got together. That these guys have been partners and friends for so long, that for them to become lovers was such an easy flow to it. There was one instance that they add another couple to the mix and I know that some people didn’t like that. But I didn’t mind that…it was really beautiful to see that they loved and trusted each other enough to know that it wouldn’t interfere with their relationship.
Aiden Snow could read me the phone book and I’d listen and find myself enthralled. I enjoyed his take on God and Day. How he had such wonderfully distinctive voices for each character. The way his voice portrayed the sexy times…whew…it was quite steamy and I was sweating a bit.
You need to go out and grab this audiobook and fall in love with God & Day and Aiden Snow.
