REVIEW:
This is another great installment of the Fetish Alley series that Susan has started and I have to say that I was truly hooked on this book. I love that we have an established couple in this series and it’s about them as solving crimes with the help of their friends and colleauges.
Susan really pulls you into the story and you feel as if no time has passed since you last saw them. I love that Clay & Tate are still around and that we get to see how their lives are progressing. This book starts out with a Bang and just kept me so interested.
Clay and Tate are called in on a murder case that seems to be going nowhere as the locals of Fetish Alley aren’t really talking to the Police and The Alley, plus Aurelio think that that they can help. I have to say that this was fun to read as I figured out who did it and was wondering how they were going to get there.
I liked that Susan gave some reallly great clues and that she let you figure it out, but allowed the guys to go through the motions of finding out who did it and all of the other characters who where there to help out our guys. I really liked that Susan brings London to me and I felt as if I were there…along for the ride on this Awesome Adventure.
The on-going relationship between Tate & Clay was a joy to read. To see that both of them still aren’t big talkers of their feelings and yet, to see the devotion & love that they have for each other is beautiful. I like that even after all these years together, they still are so attracted to each other and it’s really cute to see.
I liked that we got to see Aurelio and Tomas again…I can’t wait for their story to finally hit as they are a hoot to watch. I like that Susan has these amazing secondary characters that you fall for as well as the MC’s and yet, it doesn’t overshadow the MC’s or what’s going on in the story.
I have really enjoyed seeing some of the Men of London series. It was like old home week. I would suggest starting with for Fox’s Sake in this series…or just start with the Men of London series and get the full experience of the characters.
You can’t go wrong with a Susan Mac Nicol book and this series is one to watch. You have Mystery, Suspense, Romance and Hot Guys!!! The Perfect Reading!!!
