REVIEW:
You know, I’m thinking I need to move to Cedar Falls to find me a hottie lol. If you haven’t been keeping up, welcome to the Falls, where the businesses are as good as their names, the townspeople are a little nutty (*ahem* Jesse *cough*), and love seems to be blooming everywhere.
I think the bitches at crawling out of the woodwork as well, but it’s a blast to see Jesse and crew sinks their claws in. Now to get rid of the biggest one and I can’t wait for that one.
Danton has finally decided it’s time to settle down. After talking to Ryder over the past few years, he’s decided it’s time. He doesn’t know if his nail salon will do well but he’s sunk all he has, including a loan in to it, and it’s time to get the ball rolling. Little does he know that by meeting Jesse the first day he looks at his shop, he’s getting a friend and definite business for life. Now if he could just find someone to share the lonely nights. And at a ‘celebratory’ night, he finds what he’s looking for. Kale set his sights on Danton and isn’t letting go. But their relationship, as fast as it’s going, is coming with some prices that may be too high for Kale to pay. And it’s up to them to decide whether they keep going or run the other way.
I love the connections these guys all have. It’s not just the boyfriends or spouses, it’s the friendships. The bonds. They form instantly and are there for life. But even the lovers seems to have a chemistry that just exploded on contact. Must be something in the water lol.
For Kale and Danton, I love the Dom/sub bond, but I also love that even with Danton willing to submit to almost anything, he refuses to be anything less than he is. He’s a business owner, he has friends. He has a life and he refuses to let anyone hold him back. No matter how dominant. And Kale is having to learn not all Dom/sub relationships are a certain way. What may have worked before, doesn’t work now. But it keeps him on his toes and he feels more alive. It’s a great dynamic.
And kind of like Shane and Jake, they got bombarded with some things they weren’t quite ready for. But they stuck together. They fought. They didn’t give up. They kept on hoping and believing in each other and worked hard.
I need some of that Cedar Falls water. Lol. It’s been a fun series. I love each of the new characters, but I’m not going to lie a bit. I love to see what Jesse and crew are going to get up to in each book. It just makes my day.
