Bran Foxwell has crushed on Joel Fisher from afar for years, and now that Joel is happily in love with another guy, Bran has lost his chance. But when uber-sexy Keenan Pratt stumbles over an upset Bran, it’s the perfect opportunity for a no-strings hookup. Except sex with Keenan is hotter and more intense than Bran ever imagined, and despite their no-strings agreement, both men agree to an actual date.
As the middle triplet, Keenan Pratt is devoted to his brothers and they’ve spent the last ten years supporting and protecting each other. When Keenan has the chance to screw around with his own long-time crush Bran, it’s an itch he can’t wait to scratch. But there’s chemistry there neither of them expects and, slowly but surely, what should have been a single hookup turns into more.
But when their family is targeted, the Pratt brothers circle the wagons hard, and Keenan pulls away from Bran exactly when he should be leaning on the other man. Bran wants to be there for Keenan, but old habits run deep and if Keenan can’t learn to trust, he risks losing the best relationship he’s ever had.

REVIEW:
This series is just getting better and better. I want to see some happy ending for a few of our other Shindig friends. I hope they’re going to get some, too. The way the end of his book left off, I suspect there may be something in the air again.
This one took some turns to get there though. Which reminds me. Some of Bran’s past is horrific and could be a trigger. Also, one of the triples, Jaylen, has some issues he’s dealing with that causes a bad accident. And it could be a trigger. Plus, all three triplets deal with their parents who are bigots and homophobic and transphobic and etc. So beware of triggers.
When I read book 1, after all that had happened to Joel, I actually expected him and Bran to kind of go forward with something. Bran’s be crushing on Joel for a while and they’ve even good friends. Joel seemed to return a bit of Bran’s affection, at least I thought, until Isaiah came along. Bran is happy for his friend but a bit jealous and feeling a tad more lonely. Especially after he booted his cheating ex. What he doesn’t know is while he was crushing on Joel, Keegan has been crushing on him. And being at the right place at the right time one night, led to an explosive one-off that neither can forget. Keegan wants to see Bran and get to know him, but Bran has reservations. But little by little, Keegan wears him down. But one bad night, and what Bran has been keeping secret has to come out. Keegan is furious. Not at Bran, but for him. But it draws them closer. Until an accident with Keegan’s brothers leaves Laughlin unconscious in the hospital and Jaylen on the edge of losing it. Keegan ends up pushing Bran away, not really meaning to, but will this be the end before they can get really started, or will Keegan finally see how much he really needs Bran.
Wooooo. This one will put you through the ringer! With the assholes, and the pasts, and the families. That alone would make you want to run. But remember, family isn’t always blood but what you make it. And this Shindig group have become family. They support each other, are there for each other in good and bad times and the kind of family you want to have your back. Plus Bran has learned, he loves that being with Keegan gives him family and brothers he never had. The bond between them is unbreakable. I love the dynamic with the all. When one has an idea, they all jump in together to help each other. Even Bran’s friends who’s vegan, jumps in to help and she’s not a part of the Shindig. But their family. And that is what counts.
What Keegan and Bran have is special too. Bran has someone he knows he can finally trust. Have fun with, be with, be free with. And Keegan has someone who is there for him no matter what. Even if it has to be through someone else. With all their crap in their pasts, they’ve bonded closer as well. They have a whole new respect for each other and it’s made for a great story.
I’m loving this!
