The second book in the series about two Sugar babies and the Sugar Daddies that keep them in their way of life.
Troy Hart is a major soap opera star and the remaining heir to the Hart Acting legacy. But life isn’t all roses and champagne. He works hard at a role that is so far from who he really is. And he lives to protect the family name after his father’s scandal almost ruined it. But who Troy really is is a far cry from his “Hart the Heartthrob” persona the networks have created. What he would give to have a real relationship with someone like Elliot, the man he met at the awards show and can’t get out of his head?
I don’t know about this one. I was intrigued by the first book. It had taken awhile for it to click with me but when it finally did I wanted a HEA for Elliot and Vincent. We just keep getting HFN with more new players. And I want to know more about the mysterious Sugar Daddy Don Anders. But, with the Sugar’s being so new to relationships and their relationship in its early stage, I’m not sure adding another love interest to the mix worked for me. Plus I’m not sure why Troy was holding back his sexuality but was willing to go out in public with two very famous “sugars” and risk everything even if they were in some kind of weird disguises. His family is all gone so there’s not really anyone for him to disappoint in that part. Yes, his co-star/friend’s career was in a bit of jeopardy, but it turns out his career didn’t seem all that important to him anymore. And what is Don’s big, deep secret? We didn’t even get to see the sugars play with him.
I know that the author promises the sugars HEA and that is why I’m waiting for the next book. But I am hoping for no more “love entanglements” and we get some secrets revealed.
