Tenodod was a cyber hacker who knew how to use the skills he developed while working for one of the most powerful systems developers in the world. Only now, he was using those talents to bring down Bertram Lynnworth, Chairman and CEO of ESTG, and would continue until his vendetta was fulfilled, no matter who got hurt in the process.
Mystery, romance, and intrigue in a suspense filled thriller that will leave you asking how to protect yourself and your family.
We Own You appeared on every monitor in every ESTG facility around the world. There Is No Escape voiced the laughing clown as Tenodod took over every system within the company.
Hackers can steal your identity, control your car, access your secret files. What if one had a grip on your beating heart? What if it only took 11 seconds?
Tenodod would make Bertram crawl for what he did to all those innocent people. Unfortunately, Marc Lynnworth, Bertram’s unsuspecting son, and hundreds of others, would become pawns in Tenodod’s evil plot. “I never wanted anyone to die; I only wanted your father to see the error of his ways.”
A suspenseful, mind-piercing look into the very real secrets of cyber terrorism.
With a plot so real, you’ll keep looking over your shoulder. 11 Seconds will draw you in and make you wonder not if – but when will it happen to you?
REVIEW:
This, I think, is by far my favorite book out of this series. It was very suspenseful and kept you on your toes. My only problem, that has been with all of the books of this series, is it needs better editing. A lot of grammatical errors were made and some were simple. Other than that, this was a very good book.
Marc was a hacker, but he used his hacking for good. He would hack into companies to figure out what was wrong with their security, leave them a list of what was wrong and leave it be. But Marc stumbled on a hacker that was determined to cause major harm. This Tenodod was causing major wrecks, causing subway trains to derail, and who knows what he’s going to be up to next. Marc joins the alphabet groups to try to put a stop to it, but ends up put in harm’s way himself. All the hacker, Tenodod, really wants to do is make Marc’s father, Bertram, confess to what evils he’s done, and for him to be punished. But Tenodod went too far by taking Marc. And Bertram doesn’t seem to care anyway. But will Marc and everyone be able to stop Tenodod from his next major attack before the worst kind of devastation is caused?
People like Marc’s father, I swear, need to be throat punched or something. He treats Marc like he’s a criminal and Marc and the rest of his family like they are dirt beneath his feet. He let his job go to his head and that’s all he cares about. But even though Marc may be a hacker, he does what he does for good. He helps companies get better secure and things like that. He got thrown into a world he should have been no part of, thanks to his asshole father. And that baby went through hell. Thankfully, because he was good at what he did, people listened, but at what cost? That was the problem in a nutshell.. Marc is still just a baby really. Yeah, he’s in college and considered age wise to be a man, but really. Just a kid. Thrown into a game most men wouldn’t dare.
Some new characters were brought in on this one. Asher was there, of course, but there were more key players this time. And people who realize that while there are good ones in government, there are also those who don’t care and are just trying to look like big boys. Definitely the best of the series for me.
