I swear I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of seeing Jesse and Ethan. Oh my gosh lol.
This one deals with some abuse and an attempted rape. It deals with a so called Dom almost beating an MC to death. So some heavy triggers in there. Please be careful.
Taden had had enough of New York and the icing on the cake was finding his boyfriend cheating on him. So he got rid of everything and moved to Cedar Falls. By talking to Ryder, he found out the sleepy little town needs some life and Taden decided to open an ice cream shop. The one thing in his life that made him happy. He was opening soon and decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve at the casino. Seeing all the couple so happy, including Ethan, Bram, Jesse and Parker, made him wish for a boy of his own. But with being burned by his ex, he didn’t see it happening soon. As he was leaving to go to his room, he noticed a beautiful man being picked on by another bigger guy. From the sounds of it, the bigger dude was an asshole and they had just broken up, leaving the little guy lost and alone. Something in this guy called to Taden and he couldn’t help but hug him and try to help. Will was his name and he finally gathered courage to walk away from Taden. Taden wasn’t happy but he let him go. When going to his room again, he heard screams and came to the rescue of Will again about to get in serious trouble from the asshole ex. So Will rescued him and brought him home. They loved separately for a while, until they got to know each other. Taden wanted Will more than anything bit he knew he had to be patient. And while he was, Will opened up. Taden vowed then and there nothing would hurt Will again. But the past has a way of making itself known when we least expect it. Taden just has to prove to Will that he’s what Will needs. Hopefully, it will be enough.
There is nothing more in this world I hate than a bully. And these assholes who think they are Doms and can beat up anyone they want because it’s their right, piss me off even worse. Especially when the sub is using the safeword and they ignore it. What Will had to go through broke my heart. When someone is interested in that lifestyle and they are new, it should be up to others to keep an eye out from predators. But no one helped Will. I wanted to reach in that book and punch people so bad. Of course, what his mother did to him after made things worse. Will felt like he should be ashamed and horrified at the things he liked and wanted.
I’m so glad he got to meet Taden. Taden was patient from the first moment. He knew something had happened to Will, not just after meeting him, but in his past. What made me so happy, as much of his life is being a Dom, he would have given it up for Will. He might not have been as happy, but to make Will happy and feel safe, he would have done anything he possibly could. And that is a true Dom. That is a real person that cares.
Of course, Jesse and Ethan are up to no good lol. And I love every second of it. They keep this series so interesting and fun. It’s so great.
