Kell Iverson Cross never imagined he’d find so much joy in his life, and he doesn’t take a single moment for granted. His tireless work championing omega rights have made him a bit of a celebrity across the territory, so when his brother Braun suggests Kell be the first omega to run for public office, Kell doesn’t say no right away. It’s a huge risk to their family, though, and Kell isn’t sure the political statement is worth it. It may be more change than the traditionalist citizens of Sansbury are ready for—especially the ones who’ve already painted a target on Kell’s back.
Demir Higgs is barely staying afloat with both university exams and the upcoming medical school entrance test. Add in spending time with his younger brothers, cultivating his relationship with his two boyfriends, and winning over a grieving ten-year-old? He’s exhausted in the best way, because Demir is happy, healthy and in love with two amazing men—men he isn’t always sure truly need him in their lives.
Brandt Lars’s greatest wish came true when his missing bondmate Oliver and their son Eriq came back into his life. Eriq is still grieving the death of his beloved uncle, and he’s standoffish with Demir. But their family is trying to come together—as well as come out to more of their friends as an alpha/omega/beta triad. But when Oliver’s traditionalist parents refuse to accept Demir and threaten to take Eriq away, Demir can’t help wondering if it’s time for him to back out of their relationship for good…
Settle in for the final full-length installment of the BREAKING FREE series, where an accidental secret, a possible surprise pregnancy, a blast from the past, and an unexpected kidnapping combine to shake up the lives of everyone Kell and Demir know and love. But they’ll survive these challenges and changes the same way they always do: as a united and loving family.

REVIEW:
As i sit here writing this, I can’t even begin to tell you how incredibly sad I am. Knowing this is the final book of this series, just guts me deeply, but I understand. I have laughed, cried, screamed, ranted and so much more with these men and boys. I’ve watched them grow from terrified omegas, living in abuse and terror, and grow into men who are changing the world with their families. I’ve watched their children grow and become little boys with immense personalities as their sires, knowing they will bring even more changes because of the powerhouses their parents are. It’s been such an amazing journey, and I’m heartbroken to see it end.
Of course, with this series, mega trigger warnings. Read the blurb. Pasts are brought up, there is a kidnapping and beatings, bigotry and families just being dicks, so be careful.
I’ve watched Demir grow up so much. He’s such a loving beta. Hardworking, compassionate and a family man. In the last book, he was sick of being a virgin and met Brandt, a widowed alpha, who rocked his world. They fell in love and soon after realized, Brandt’s Omega was still alive. And two became three. They’re still trying to settle into their relationship. It’s hard. Demir still loves at home, Oliver still has a hard time with sex without Demir, and Brandt is just trying to keep everyone happy and healthy. And after this heat, he thought they were. He knew there needed to be changes still but one step at a time. But Demir was still feeling a bit off. Especially when Oliver’s parents came to remeet with Oliver and Brandt and met Demir. The meeting did not go well. And made the doubts worse. When Demir and his little brothers are kidnapped by an escaped felon they all know, it sets back Demir even worse when rescued. With more news on the way, it’s very possible this three may become two again and the two will be strained.
While all this is going on, everyone else is being the family each other needs. Especially when Kell is more or less roped into running for mayor. It’s fearful, being as what Kell stands for, but everyone believes in him and wants change. Maybe the province can finally bring the changes it continues to need. It’s grown and changed a lot already, but it needs more work. And Kell is right for the job. If only everyone else in the province agreed.
I was so happy to see everyone back. So much growth. So many changes. Especially Demir. Being with Brandt and Oliver has given him so much, good and bad. If people would stop giving him grief about it, or stop looking at the three of them with disgust or something, that would help. I hate what Demir has to go through in this book, though. He’s such a great guy. He would give anyone anything he could, including his own life. And when he loses his confidence in himself and his place, it breaks me in two. It’s a horrible thing to see. Thankfully, he has friends and family everywhere surrounding and supporting him, but sometimes your own self is your worst enemy.
Oliver is still coming to terms with his past and not remembering. He’s still not comfortable with a lot of things. But getting there. This journey has been super hard on him, too. With all the news he’s getting from his past and the way his parents acted with him, Brandt and Demir, it was a blow.
Brandt is trying to keep it all together. He feels helpless some days. Wanting to provide and care for his little family, but sometimes he doesn’t know how or what to do. These guys are going through some hard times. And the alpha in him is getting to the point, he just wants to hide his family away from everyone so they can be happy. But that’s not the way, and he knows that.
With Kell, running for mayor, he knows he could bring more changes for everyone, especially omegas, if he wins. But at what cost? They all ready get threats and such because of what he’s doing. So far, that’s all they are. Threats. If he does this, will it be worse?
For everyone in this extended family, all the omegas and their families, it’s been a hell of a journey. This book is no different. But one thing that has been constant, is their family. Family is not always blood, but the people you make it. A few are blood, but they made a huge family and they’re all there for one another. Alpha, Omega and beta. Doesn’t matter the gender, they love hard and stand by the sides of those they love. With very change, comes a new journey. Even if it’s something small. And they all rally around one another.
If you haven’t read this series, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s incredible. I can’t say enough good things about it. I hope in the future, we will get to see maybe some snippets of how everyone is doing. I will miss these boys. Well, kinda. Lol. I will be reading these over and over again. I assure you.
