At twenty-eight, Jamie Gray has realized his dream of becoming a traveling nurse. After years of moving from place to place, he’s met so many new people but hasn’t formed any true connections. Jamie knows it’s time to stop avoiding his life, like he’s been doing since the death of his mother; his only family. Moving to the big city of Powell’s Point to share an apartment with his best friend is exactly what he needs. It feels like the best time to set down some roots and get into a routine…and maybe, just maybe find love.
Ronan Kincaid comes from a long line of doctors. Not being one to conform to the desires of his parents or society, his small practice focuses on the people in the BDSM community of Powell’s Point. Often misunderstood, the community needs someone who knows and lives their lifestyle…someone who will take care of them the way they deserve.
With his well-respected practice and exceptional bedside manner—coupled with afterhours scenes and kinky house calls—the nickname Dr. Kink takes hold, much to his dismay. Needing to replace his long-time nurse, he hires the best candidate for his growing practice, figuring his mild attraction is of no consequence. But as time passes, he finds it harder and harder to keep his thoughts and hands away from his new nurse. If only Jamie wasn’t so captivating, drawing Ronan to touch.
As their mounting attraction becomes impossible to ignore, their secrets are revealed, changing everything between them. Heated glances turn into heated touches, and they find themselves wondering: Is what they have a passing phase of pleasure and kink, or can they both open their minds to the possibility of a forever love?

REVIEW:
I am so thrilled that there is finally a new Luna David book and that she teamed up with Morningstar Ashley after GRL!
When Ronan Kincaid, affectionately called “Dr. Kink” behind his back, is forced to find a new nurse before his very pregnant one gives birth he’s out of his element. Gina has not only been his trusty assistant since he started his practice but his close friend. But she wants to be a stay-at-home mom and he’s happy for her and her wife. When the new candidates are narrowed down to three and the first two bomb out Ronan is very worried for his patients. His clinic is very much needed and serves an unique clientele. His patients are part of the BDSM community of Powell’s Point in Washington State. So he is relieved when the final candidate, a male traveling nurse, has decided to settle in their town. Jamie Gray is a talented and gifted nurse with the ability to take care of his patients without prejudice or judgment while making them feel cared for and supported. Ronan and Jamie notice immediately the sparks between them but have managed for the first couple months to keep them extinguished. That fly through the roof when Jamie forgets his phone at the clinic one Friday night and stumbles upon the reason why Gina referred to Ronan as “Dr. Kink”. He not only treats members of the BDSM community but “scenes” with them too! And Jamie discovers he’s not quite as vanilla as he had always thought. It seems that Jamie enjoys watching Ronan participate in the scenes and Ronan is extremely turned on by Jamie’s voyeurism. But can these two men work together during the day and play at night?
I found this book even more exciting than I expected. The dynamics between Ronan and Jamie were combustible. They perfectly complimented each other’s wants and needs. I found the scenes where they interacted with others very well written and Ronan’s caregiver nature was extremely endearing. But I really liked that Jamie had his own backbone. Yes he loved submitting to Ronan sexually but he was strong and spoke his mind when he was outside a scene and needed his point understood. They were perfectly counterbalanced.
This is book one and I am really hoping that book two is Jamie and Ronan’s best friends Andy and Brad. There is a dynamic pairing I am eager to read. This is a great start to what I hope is a fruitful and stimulating series. I strongly encourage you to give this one a chance.
NOTE: I am going to put this out here. I am so sorry that this review is soooo very tardy. As many know, real life got into the way of my plans big time this winter and spring. Watching mortality stare down your spouse of forty years was something I wasn’t prepared for when I left GRL in October. So please forgive me for my absence…it has been a very long winter and I’m in high hopes that spring is starting to look up.
