REVIEW:

This book hit me on such a personal level. Nolan is me. The male me. The eating, the feelings, the bullies, everything is me. The difference is I don’t have anyone see me the way West sees Nolan. And oh, it’s beautiful.

West has never cared what Nolan has looked like as far as his weight. He’s been in love with Nolan for forever, he just wasn’t ready to give Nolan what Nolan deserved. But Nolan doesn’t know this about West. Yet. All he knows, is that he has been crushing hard on West from the beginning, and it’s so bad Nolan literally cannot speak. He gets flustered. But West has been called back from a trip early because of something going on with Nolan, but no one is talking. So West intends to find out. But as soon as he sees him, thoughts flee and he can’t help but kiss the sweet man. Which turns into something embarrassing for Nolan. Nolan is shocked West wants him. West keeps wooing Nolan and Nolan figures he better soak it up before it’s over. Surely this won’t last long. But West is in for the long haul, and Nolan is keeping secrets. If they can make it past this, maybe it can work.

Yep. Ugly cry was on. Nolan has made me relive everything. I so understand everything he’s went through. Even up to trying to figure out if I could do the gastric. So I felt his pain. I felt his humiliation at trying to figure out what West was doing. If it was a joke or not. Or pity. It’s hard to accept love when you’re so down on yourself. So for Nolan, it will take a lot to make him believe. And West is up to the job.

West makes me happy. He doesn’t care that Nolan is a bit overweight. He’s just excited to see the sexy man. And that’s what he thinks. Nolan is sexy, beautiful. And he’s determined to show Nolan, no matter how long it takes. And I love him for it. He’s the rock and support Nolan needs and he’s not backing down.

This was such a good book. Even with the ugly cry. It just hit me so hard. I do have to say this though, Andrew and Brogan need to get together lol.
