The holidays are usually a whirlwind of busy activity for Anson—decorating, baking for friends—but this year, his heart isn’t in it. He’d hoped coming out to Daly as asexual would be the right thing to do. Since then, he hasn’t heard a word from the handsome photographer.
Now Daly’s suddenly shown up at his front door, asking Anson to trust him, to come with him. He doesn’t dare hope in case this is just another build up to a bigger heartbreak.

REVIEW:
Oh my gah this made me ugly cry. I so understand how Anson feels in this book. When you finally find someone you connect with and you tell them the truth about yourself, only to be rejected. It’s gut wrenching. But thankfully in this…HEA!
Anson really liked Daly. They finally went to something as a couple. But that night, Anson gave Daly his secret. He’s asexual. And Daly told Anson he needed time and space to think about it. Weeks went by and no word. Until now. Daly is asking Anson to trust him. Anson goes out on a limb and does, only to hope he doesn’t get heartbroken again.
Oh Anson. 💟Trying to hold out for love being different is hard. Anson thought being gay was hard enough, but when he figured out he was asexual, it was worse. No one can deal with it. And all Anson’s dreams of finding the man of his dreams were basically over. My heart. But I admire Daly. It’s not an easy thing to live with, but he realized life without Anson was much worse.
This is a good short. I really loved it. You connect with Anson so well. And Daly just made it all better.
