It’s hard being the PA for the Holiday Spirit.
Julian is more dedicated than most, and knows the job inside and out. But that doesn’t mean he’ll still have a job when the new Holiday Spirit is elected. It also doesn’t mean he’s immune to the *cough* charms of the office, but that’s a whole other problem.
REVIEW:
If you’re in the mood for a cute but funny little holiday short, this is the one. It’s quirky and just adorable. I loved the characters and it adds a new little twist on how you look at who’s running the show during the holidays.
Poor Julian is going to have to endure another Holiday Spirit. He’s not recovered from being the personal assistant from that last one. Well, more than one to be honest. He’s had to cover so many trails, ‘lost’ so much paperwork, and bribed and cajoled his way in and out of more stuff than he’d like to remember. All because the last Holiday Spirit discovered gambling and women. Yuk. He used to love his job, but now, not so much. He knows he’s more than qualified for the position, but he doesn’t want that either. And after all he’s had to cover up, he’s so sure he’s fired. But the new Holiday Spirit has plans for Julian and it’s going to blow his mind.
Julian was just cute as can be. And I felt sorry for him with all he had to endure. And he was on the outs with some creatures because of stuff the others had pulled. Poor guy. What made this so comical, though, was his friends and his word fumbling at meeting the new boss. His friends were hilarious. Married for a long time, they were as opposite as opposite can be. But they had that spark. When Julian meets his new boss, he ends up with word vomit or lack of brain function. And that was just too adorable for words. But comical as well. You’ll see. This book was just great. Such a light-hearted little read.
