When did I first consider myself a writer?
It’s really strange. I used to read so much when I was a young child. I never envisaged being a writer, but fifteen books later, I guess I am. I have been inspired by many talented authors, such as Dan Brown, V.C. Andrews, John Irving, and many more. Unfortunately my stressful business career took me away from my passion, but I moved to Tenerife seventeen years ago, and hey, now I dedicate my life to writing. It all started about ten years ago. I’d been working on a cruise ship, and my mind went into overdrive when I got back home. I felt compelled to write my first book, Mistela. That’s where it all began, and it hasn’t stopped since then! I have a very active mind, and it constantly needs to be occupied—so writing is the perfect solution for me. There is never a dull moment (when I’m awake, or asleep – yes, writing is a 24/7 obsession!) To answer the question directly, I first considered myself to be a writer/author when I was signed to eXtasy Books in 2016. Like many aspiring authors, I sent my first book to a lot of publishers and literary agents. They all said it was great BUT they didn’t have an audience for it. Well, thankfully eXtasy Books saw my potential and the genre I write in fitted like hand in glove. Yeah, now I really do feel like an author and I’m proud of my achievements.
What do I do to unwind and relax?
This is an easy one! I love music, and that is my release valve. After a day of concentrating so hard on my story, characters, plot, dialogue, etc. I am fit for practically nothing at the end of the day. All I want is music. Wonderful inspirational songs that bring me back to life and inject me with energy. I am going to see IL Divo live in June and I cannot wait! I can’t chill out watching a movie, because I always find flaws in the plot and pick up on too much “artistic direction or freedom.” It just kills it for me. Perhaps one of the downfalls of being a writer—you pick up on the minor detail.

I love the cover and the blurb for Computer Lover. The book sounds so good. I have never heard of The Men in Love And At War series but I will be reading it.
