Rule #1: Keep running.
Jag’s rules have kept him safe and free since he escaped conversion therapy, but that was before he walked into Heaven and Hell. A no-strings fling with the club owner, Michael, turns into so much more as Jag finds himself breaking one rule after another.
Michael hasn’t been able to commit to anyone since his partner died, until Jag walks into his club. Falling in lust with the elfin young dancer is easy, and his heart is quick to follow.
Michael gives Jag a reason to stay, but fear rules Jag’s heart more than love. Despite his deepening feelings for Michael, Jag knows he can’t stay. Can he?

5 Recent Favourite MM Romance Reads
Like everyone else, my to be read list is far too long! My Kindle is bursting and I use my Audible credits as soon as I get them each month. I actually listen to audiobooks the most at the moment; usually when I’m walking the dog, or driving on my own. Here (in no particular order), are my most recent favourite reads:
Out Of Focus by LA Witt
This is a hot MMM romance. I loved the dynamic between Angel and Dante, and the way Jordan fitted into that. The BDSM scenes were very well written, with plenty of sweet aftercare moments.
Not So Vanilla by Morgan Noel
Another MMM! Albeit a very different one. Mew was so sweet and the way he fumbled through wanting to experiment with kinkier things was very endearing. I will never look at donuts the same way again!
Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
Tanner was so lovely and understanding, of poor, confused and conflicted Sebastian. I liked that this book was essentially a narrative within a narrative, although you don’t realise it until close to the end. It was very cleverly done.
The Blackcreek Series by Riley Hart
I know, I’m cheating. I’ve read the first three books in this series and adored them. I couldn’t pick a favourite out of these three if I tried. All three couples are lovely and sweet in their own ways.
Charlie’s Rainbow by Victoria Sue
Charlie was so lovely! I really felt for him throughout the novel. It was an ‘insta-love’ book, and a very sweet one at that. I really liked the island setting and the whole family of characters contained within the book.
I’m currently reading Take A Chance by Megs Pritchard, which so far I’m really enjoying. It’s got a fair amount of angst, which is something I enjoy!
Now you know what’s been on my Kindle/Audible account, what are your five recent favourite MM reads?
“Have you pole danced before?” Michael asked. It wouldn’t be the first time some naive kid had walked into the club, thinking pole dancing was easy.
“Yes.”
“Done stripteases?”
The young man nodded.
Michael drew his thumb from his nose to the corner of his mouth. “Get down here and show me your ID.”
The young man’s eyes widened a fraction—they were dark, Michael noted—and then he jogged down the stairs. He held out his ID, not relinquishing it as Michael checked it. The photo definitely matched the attractive, fine-featured face before him, although it must have been taken a few years earlier, as the passport’s five-year lifespan had expired. He could see the young man’s date of birth, which established that he was twenty. He couldn’t read his name, as his thumb was obscuring it.
“What should I call you?” Michael asked.
“Jag.”
Michael raised his eyebrows but didn’t comment on it, though he doubted it was his real name, especially as the question hadn’t prompted him to move his thumb. His lips turned down a fraction. Jag wasn’t the first cagey dancer he’d met, and he doubted he’d be the last.
Jag stared up into his eyes. “And you? What should I call you?”
Michael’s lips curved into a smile. “Michael.” He could tell he was going to like this guy, whether he had ability on the pole or not. But a spunky attitude wasn’t going to encourage punters to part with their cash.
“Like the archangel?” Jag asked, tilting his head a little.
“Exactly like the archangel. That used to be my stage name, before I started running this place.” Michael’s smile deepened as Jag’s searching gaze swept over him. He liked being under the scrutiny of those large, dark eyes. “Why don’t you warm up while I pour myself a drink, and then you can show me your moves.”
Colette’s personal love story began at university, where she met her future husband. An evening of flirting, in the shadow of Lancaster castle, eventually led to a fairytale wedding. She’s enjoying her own ‘happy ever after’ in the north of England with her husband, two beautiful children and her writing.
