Those who can’t do; teach. Those who don’t date; matchmake. At least, that’s how it was for me, Witt Ramsey. After a breakup that left me heartbroken and bitter, with no desire to date, I threw myself into work to save Valentine’s Inc. from bankruptcy.
My life felt busy and fulfilling until Tony Morelli walked in. Following a string of dating disasters, I made it my mission to help Tony find his perfect match. But between his old-school ways and his abrupt demeanor, I realized I had my work cut out for me. After some makeover tips and a series of trial dates, Tony was ready to meet his match.
But after getting to know him, was I ready for that?
REVIEW:
This series could not have ended on a more perfect note. The boss himself lands his match. But not at first. This aren’t as smooth for him. And it was perfect.
Trying to keep this branch of Valentine’s Inc up and going had been Witt’s job and main focus. He didn’t really have time for dating himself, and didn’t know if he was ready after his disastrous ex. But he had a client come in after four dates not happy, and Witt figures the only thing he can do, and teach the man to date properly and see what he does so wrong. But as he’s getting to know Tony over these lessons and fake dates, he’s learning he’s really into Tony. Tony has opened up and really tried to engage and make some changes to be better. But he kept telling himself, Tony is a client. After a real date to test the waters for the lessons, the engage in a kissing lesson that knocks Witt’s socks off. Oh yeah, Tony is ready. But sending him out with someone else is eating at him. It’s time for Tony to be happy though, and Witt has to let it go.
Witt is such a sweetie. He really is. He didn’t deserve what his ex did to him, and it locked him down. He was really surprised when Tony actually turned him on. As gruff and messy as Tony was, Witt was enamored. But what really impressed me want Tony. Tony was straight up an ass. He had no manners whatsoever. So he was either never taught or being a cop took them all away. But whatever Witt threw at him, he did. He may be gruff about it, but he did it. He tried to improve. And that made it all worthwhile. That took courage to be nitpicked at and not go off and change. Yeah, this was a perfect ending. Witt got exactly what he needed and Tony finally got a perfect match.
