Shunned and cast aside by his faith and family, Jamie is left to do whatever it takes to survive.
He comes across a group of kids in the same predicament, braving the streets of Seattle due to circumstances beyond their control. Lost souls who’ve slipped through the cracks of the broken systems society forced them into. Yet they still offer what little they have to him, including their home.
As time moves on, darkness surrounds him and when one of their own falls victim to the streets, Jamie wonders if there’s anything left worth living for. When his savior appears out of nowhere, he finds it hard to believe its real because he knows he’s not worth loving.
This is Jamie’s story from the #1 Amazon Bestselling book, Greyson Fox.

REVIEW:
“Family doesn’t need blood to form a bond, it only needs to have a heart.” Love like there’s no tomorrow and let go of the hate. Remember, those we’ve lost are never truly gone as long as we hold them in our hearts and in our minds.
First and foremost, PLEASE pay attention to the warnings above! ☝❤
Secondly, if you have not read Grayson Fox, I would strongly advise doing that first. This book may not be listed as a ‘sequel’, but it is almost fully intertwined with it. Separate stories, yet together.
If you HAVE read Grayson already, this is Jamie’s story, and as you can tell by the warnings, it’s a doozy. It takes everything I have, when I read these stories, to not go smack parents and church officials. Because even though this story is fiction, you could substitute Jamie’s name for millions of others and it be true. This story is powerful and it doesn’t hold back. It’s a reminder that we need to be more involved in kids’ lives. So many are homeless and prostituting themselves because they have no other way to survive and it’s sad. And disgusting the way people are. Before I get off on a tangent, it’s a great book. So was Grayson.
I say a thanks to the heavens every time I see a happy ending. Fortunately, this story is. But not everyone’s story is. There are some in this book that don’t get a happy ending and it’s a hard pill to swallow. Jamie was wondering if he would ever get a happy ending. Being told he was trash basically from the time he was little, and beaten to a pulp for being different, was his way of life. Dragged to a church to make him see the error of his ways became an even worse way of life when the priest would take advantage of him. Finally kicked out at fifteen for it, he was shipped to a city where he knew no one and nothing. Some other street kids came to his ‘rescue’ and taught him how to survive, more or less. Some of them got to move on, some didn’t. And Jamie had to do the one thing he didn’t want to to get by. Some were nice, one was not, almost killing him. But Jamie had an ‘angel’ watching over him. A cop got him to Daniel and Marcus, where he got on his feet and was allowed to be himself. He finally felt like he may get his happy ending after all. But life isn’t easy and it tries to kick him in the teeth several times. But one thing life has taught him….survive.
When I first read of Jamie in Grayson’s book, I always wondered why Butch was so protective of him. Even though Grayson was his best friend, Butch would beat him down if he had to protect Jamie. In this story, we find out fully why. As I said before, it gets me in the gut every time. Kids shouldn’t have to worry about surviving so young. They’re supposed to be kids. Living life and growing up. Mi thought my heart would break when I read through Grayson, but this one tore me apart. I wanted to hug Jamie so bad. He longed for someone to hug him, hold him. Show him the good of life. Show him all he felt about himself with dancing, being gay and much more, that it was ok. It’s good to be different. When he finally got to see Marcus and Daniel, I knew how things would end to a point, but it still made my heart glad to see he had a savior or two to love him.
And those two weren’t the only ones. I don’t want to give much away. I have given away too much as it is. But there are quite a few in here that just make everything better. Make you smile. Make you happy. Make you want to shout for joy for Jamie.
Read these books if you are triggered. They’re excellent books. And when you do, remember there are kids that need our support. They need help. Allies. People to stand up for them.
