Ravensong (Green Creek #2) by TJ Klune
What an incredible book! I could add so many adjectives of how wonderful this book was, but I’m a bit short on space, so I’ll refrain from that. Ravensong just hit all the right notes for me; I was in my happy place for every page.
Galaxies and Oceans by N.R. Walker
This book was everything I’ve come to love from a N.R. Walker story; slow-burn, great characters and a quiet but beautiful romance that touches every part of your heart.
I was terrified of picking this book up. I was sure I’d spend the whole story ugly crying and sobbing my heart out. However, that was not the case. No Regrets was amazingly beautiful and it is a book that I’m highly recommending for everyone loving those bittersweet love stories with wonderful characters that you can’t help falling for.
Bad Behavior series by L.A. Witt & Cari Z.
I loved this series, it was intense! It was full speed right from the start and never let up. I was at the edge of my seat for the entire series. Add in wonderfully flawed, genuine characters and this was a major hit for me.
Second Wind by Aimee Nicole Walker
I loved this book. It was a beautifully written love story about two men destined to be together. It might take some time to get there, and a few heartbreaks along the way, but in the end it was all worth it.
Angel and Firebird by Nell Iris
For such a short book it sure packed a punch! Anyone looking for a good cry and an angsty short story, this is the book for you. And even if you are only looking for a story about that one great love, the love that spans and overcome any distance and obstacle this is the book you want.
No one writes political thrillers as Tal Bauer. This was a massive read, but it was a great one. His books are intense and incredibly detailed. His words truly send you off to war, fighting, scrambling and doing your best to survive.
Sanctuary Found (Pelican Bay #2) by Sloane Kennedy
I loved this book (too). The characters, the plot, it was all just great. My only problem is that I want more. There was a little bit of angst in some places, but mostly this was a book of second chances and starting over. It was sweet, but not sugary. It was a perfect book to listening to while sitting out in the sun.
Kill Game by Cordelia Kingsbridge
This is definitely my kind of book. I just might lose what’s left of my sanity waiting for the rest of the series to be released into audio! The book was that good. The suspense, the twists and turns. The mystery of it all. The thrill of the hunt. The flawed, real characters, the slow build of a relationship. Please just give me more! I’m waiting impatiently. Just give more and now!
Sin and Tonic (Sinners #6) by Rhys Ford
It’s the end of a wonderful series. Bittersweet yet a book I’d waited for, for so long. It was great to finally have answers, but saying goodbye to some of my favourite characters wasn’t easy.
Thanks for your list. I have read a few of these but there are a couple I will be checking out that I haven’t heard of.
Great list, i love everything that Nr Walker writes and i also enjoyed reading Sanctuary Found by Sloane Kennedy 🙂 I have heard good things about Kill Game so i have added it on my wishlist. Thank you for sharing your list.
“whisper” gave me a lot to think about and stayed with me for along, long time. Read the “Executive” series too…outstanding. An author for grown up readers.
I’ve only read Sanctuary Found, but the rest are on my TBR already.
Kill Game was awesome
I have several of the others on my kindle too
Thanks for sharing. I have a few of these books already on my list (like Sin and Tonic or Ravensong), but as always I’m way behind. The Bad Behavior series sounds interesting. I might give it a try.
ANGEL AND FIREBIRD sounds cool!
Great list; thank you for sharing it! I enjoyed Sanctuary Found as well.
They all look great I think I only read two of them but definitely would like to give them all a see.
Thanks for the list. You’ve got some good ones there.
Definitely lots of.cross over here – if not the book then the author so a few for.me to look at closer!
