PIZZYGIRL
Bishop Ridge (Sawyer’s Ferry #2) by Cate Ashwood
This is the second book in a series that has me hooked. Not only was the attraction and emotions so strong they lept off the page, but this was a book that felt like home to me. It included my profession for the first time since I can remember! And I love a good book that also represents!
Somebody to Die For by Kris T. Bethke
This book had all the feels. I love the characters and loved the story. This one stuck with me well after I finished reading it and I have since re-read it multiple times.
Smoke in the Mirror (Road to Blissville #5) by Aimee Nicole Walker
This book hit the spot when I needed it to. It had a lovely romance and two fantastic characters. It also had a great mystery that kept it interesting and intertwined well with all the other story elements.
I really enjoyed this story. It was so full of fantastic beings and really made me do my research on lore that I was not familiar with. Top that off with a lovely HEA and this book had me smiling and feeling well satisfied.
Nobody’s Prince Charming (Road to Blissville #3) by Aimee Nicole Walker
This year was a good year for Ms. Walker in my opinion and this book is just one of the many pieces I would love to showcase. It was a very emotional story that was fulls of chemistry and had such potential to be OTT angsty, but never was. It was angsty enough to be tense and have me at the edge of me seat needing to devour it IMMEDIATELY. Very well written and highly recommended.
Contemporary Draconic Hoarding Practices by Dae Richards
This was a new to me author and she wowed me immensely with this tale. I loved the world, the magic, the dragon, the romance, and the mystery. All was well incorporated and combined to for an extremely adorable tale.
Risky Behavior (Bad Behavior #1 – audio) by L.A. Witt & Cari Z.
This was a great start to this series. I was instantly invested in the plot and totally fell in love with both MCs. I loved the the slow build and was rooting for all to turn out OK in the end. The narrations was fantastic and only served to enhance this story.
Off the Beaten Path (audio) by Cari Z.
Great world full of wonderful shifter dynamics! The MCs were strong and full of passion and the secondary character stood out and captured my interest. The narration was great and made for a very easy listening experience.
The Master Will Appear (audio) by L.A. Witt
This was my absolute favorite read of 2018 hands down. It is my favorite re-read for when I need something that I know I will love and that was well written and well narrated. This book broke me in the best ways and I highly recommend this to anyone in the mood for a highly satisfying BDSM story.
Chasing Thunderbird by j. leigh. bailey
This book was fun and for me, was well written. It was way OTT but that was the point and that was what made it so great to read and enjoy. This world was fantastic and the characters were so likable. The ending was totally predictable but left me with tears of joy.
Thanks for the list and descriptions. Some good authors here, and yay, I already have a couple of these.
I’ve added several of these to my wishlist. Thank you for sharing!
Ah, Chasing Thunderbird and Nudging Fate were among my favourites, too. I liked a lot of the Dreamspun Beyond books. Thanks for sharing your list 🙂
