Hello, all!
As amazing as it seems, it’s 2019. I can hardly believe last year is gone. It seems as if I still haven’t mastered putting 2018 on checks, and now it’s a new year. I’m not sure why last year seemed to fly by, but it did. It was a good year for me. I doubled my income, and wrote many books that I’m proud of. It was the first year I went to GRL and that was a milestone of sorts.
I have lots of new projects in mind this coming year. I’m thrilled to be included in a mystery anthology with Josh Lanyon and other authors I respect. I plan on writing the third book in my psychic detective series and the second book in the Dr. Thornton Murder Mysteries series. I also intend write the third book in my assassin series and re-release the first two books that I got back after Loose Id sadly closed it’s doors. I have projects under other pen names that I won’t go into detail on, but I’m definitely excited for all the things I hope to accomplish in 2019.
I intend to go to GRL in 2019 if I can secure a Featured Author spot. It will be odd not to see Ethan Day there. His passing was a huge shock to the MM community, and it was truly heartbreaking. For me, Ethan was the face of GRL. I’ll miss him, even though I didn’t really know him well. He was just one of those people who everybody loved. You didn’t have to know Ethan well for him to make you feel special. Losing Ethan is a great hit to our community. There are so many negative people, but he was always a positive influence. We need more of that, not less.
I hope this coming year is everything you hope it will be, and more.
Happy New Year!
