REVIEW:

Thomas Stepford is lonely. He’s spent all his life becoming a very successful businessman that he forgot to look after himself. Thomas owns his own real-estate development company in New York that he runs with his best friend Blaze. After spending so long away from his parents Thomas decides its now time to return to Colorado Springs to start the next chapter of his life and be closer to his aging parents.

Brandon used to mow Thomas’s lawn when he was 15 and he’s never entirely forgotten his attraction nor the fantasy’s Thomas inspired in his young heart. When Brandon’s grandmother organizes a job opportunity as Thomas’s assistant his heart and feelings start to go haywire when he gets the job.

Although they both fight to keep things strictly professional between them both Thomas and Brandon realise that their feelings can’t be denied. So begins the relationship they both have been searching for without realizing they were searching! Thomas is almost forty whilst Brandon is only twenty-five, this is a huge issue for Thomas but to Brandon it’s completely negligible.

Although Thomas falls madly in love with Brandon, he doesn’t want to hold him back so when Hollywood calls with a job opportunity for him Thomas backs him one hundred percent of the way! Brandon has always wanted to go into the film industry, not as an actor but in marketing and promotion. Although he hasn’t been Thomas’s assistant very long their connection grown to such an extent that Brandon has no hesitation in accepting the job offer from Columbia Pictures!

Their relationship isn’t easy or straightforward but with a lot of time and effort Thomas and Brandon can have the life they’ve always dreamed of.

I have no hesitation in recommending New Tricks to you to read. I strongly suggest you get a copy, a cup of your favorite drink, a nice snuggly place to curl up and lose yourself in a wonderful world Andrew Greys making!
