REVIEW:
You’re right until now I haven’t dated. Ever. But for you, Lincoln Reynolds, I will. So what do you say? Will you go on a date with me?”
Oh my heart. I have adored every book in this series, but this is my absolute favorite right now. And believe me I love ALL the guys in this series, but there was something special about Nathan and Lincoln, and Nathan got his story. I was so waiting for Linc’s. And with how things had left off between he and Matt in the last story…….tension was stirring bad.
Those two have been circling each other from the beginning. Both stubborn as hell. Both with these stupid rules. When all they’ve really wanted was each other. Smh. They needed to be shared hard. Change is coming for both of them, though, whether they like it or not. And it’s time to grow up.
Matt has something in his past holding him back. But his sister has decided to move on. Finally. And seeing as this past affected them both, Matt had to make sure she was ready. She definitely is and made sure to put Matt in his place about how it’s time for him to move on too. And Matt has to decide….is fear going to keep him from the man he loves or is he going to finally go after Linc? Matt is really a good guy. He tries to act all tough and stuff but he’s been spied on with clients he helps and he’s just amazing. Sweet, patient, adoring.
Linc has had to do some thinking too. With Nate being married, he’s so happy for him, but it’s triggered the loneliness in his own life that booty calls are fixing. He’s ready to settle down. But he has to decide can he finally move on from Matt or is it time to put his foot down and go for what he wants? He is such a sweetheart. Has the biggest heart of gold. I hate when he’s so hard on himself though. Cowboys are supposed to be tough and sometimes he forgets, it’s ok to cry, it’s ok to want someone else to take charge.
These two knew they wanted to be together, but past things are hard to get over. I loved watching these two. The would beat around the bush to figure out what they wanted, but once they figured it out….BAM! It made me so stinking happy when they started getting their shit together.
Working at the youth center grounded some things for them too. It made their relationship so special. And the surprise in this book!!!! OH. MY. GAH! JACKI I LOVE YOU CUZ IT WAS PERFECT!
This book is amazing. I have adored Linc for so long and am so happy he gets his story. He’s just the best. And has the best for him ready. Squeeeeeeeeeeee! So so good!!
