REVIEW:
I feel raw now, with tears running down my face. I knew it was going to be rough to leave this family but I wasn’t prepared for how rough it truly was going to be! This is my first Christmas book of the season and it was a very special one for me.
Rick and Kathy Greene are having the whole family home for Christmas. And, with that family, you knew there were going to be plenty of hijinx‘s and and sexy times involved.
I have truly fallen deeply in love with this whole family. They have become real to me. I could easily relate to Kathy. She and I are mother’s who love with their whole existence their families. All you want is for your children to find that perfect person for them…their soulmate and to have the family that they deserve. And Grandbabies are the best part of your kids growing up and getting married. You get to love on them and spoil them like you didn’t have the time and money when your kids were young.
One of the things I loved best about this book and series was how much family meant to all of the Greene kids. They loved their siblings with their whole hearts and wanted the world for their brothers and sisters. And they always had each other’s backs. When one of them was in need the calvary came riding in in-force. That went for the spouses as well. When you married into this family you became one of them and you protected all your loved ones with everything you have and they all protected you.
I loved how traditions were important to the whole family and that they took top priority. The “competitions” they had were awesome and so much fun. I wish I could have competed on the scavenger hunt! And Carter playing “Silent Night” at midnight on Christmas Eve…no matter how exhausted I was I wouldn’t have been able to fall asleep until after that tradition played out!
I am having a really hard time writing this because it means that I have to say goodbye to the Greene Family. I know that there are spinoffs and 🤞 hope that we get to see our men again. The only thing that disappointed me a wee bit was the epilogue. I view novellas like the old-time Christmas cards we used to look forward to before internet and cell phones. I could have easily seen the epilogue made into a new novella, as this year’s catch up on what was happening with our favorite guys! You know Annabella Michaels, it’s not too late for it to happen??? 😉
