An MMM Mpreg romance.
Bray knows what he wants: a sweet, pliant omega who will bear him an alpha heir. But he doesn’t want one now. He’s too young to settle down and just wants to have fun and play. That’s why hooking up with Kean is perfect, even if the beta doesn’t come close to what Bray is usually attracted to.
Kean thought he could keep things casual with Bray, but when he starts yearning for more, Bray makes it clear he’s not interested. When Ruari, a single-dad omega, arrives on the ranch with his baby, Kean instantly connects with him. He breaks things off with Bray to pursue Ruari, leaving the alpha confused and angry. But even though Ruari reciprocates his feelings, Kean can’t get Bray out of his mind.
Ruari doesn’t hesitate when he and his baby are offered a safe place at the PTP ranch. He’s in desperate need of support, especially after he finds out he has the Melloni gene. Meeting Kean makes him want to stay, even though he’s scared his father will find him. But when Ruari runs into the alpha-father of his baby, things get complicated fast.
Bray, Kean, and Ruari try to figure out where they each fit as sparks fly, tempers rise, and a stubborn beta and an equally sassy omega prove to be more than a match for a slightly arrogant alpha. Meanwhile, they and their fellow pack members have to take a stand against a rising threat to the pack. When trouble comes, the pack fights back, but it won’t come without a cost.
Alpha’s Pride is an MMM mpreg romance and the fourth book in the continuing Irresistible Omegas series. All books need to be read in order and are not stand alones. The love story between Bray, Kean, and Ruari ends on a soft cliffhanger in this book and will continue in the next book.
REVIEW:
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book! I was on my way to GRL 2018 when this book arrived in my inbox and now the con is getting in my way of devouring this book!
Bray had always thought that he needed a nice, sweet, pliant omega when he would finally be ready for that stage in his life, but he was way too young for that right now. Suddenly he was faced with a sassy, strong one that spoke his mind when challenged. Ruari had had enough of bossy, demanding, controlling Alphas his entire life. His father was the worst of the worst and he wanted nothing like him ever again in his life. He had escaped his father and survived and he was never submitting himself, or his infant son Jax, to a life like that ever again. When his health began to decline and his dizzy spells grew more frequent he knew, for his baby’s sake, that he had to seek help. He also figured his powerful father was still searching for him so he had to be careful. He discovered that there was a free clinic that was helping omegas, especially ones with a weird mutation gene, a ways out on a remote ranch. As he approached the clinic he suffered another one of his dizzy spells and is rescued by a gorgeous beta just as he blacks out. When he awakens he discovers his son is in the arms of his white knight. Their attraction is evident but Kean acts on it first, right after he breaks it off with his hookup alpha. He is an honorable man and doesn’t condone cheating. Bray doesn’t take getting dumped by the headstrong beta who called him out on his behavior. When Bray discovers that the omega Kean dumped him for is the omega he couldn’t stop thinking about from his one time with him at his club. What will happen when an over-the-top alpha with way too much attitude is face to face with a spunky omega that is getting the better of him and a beta he never realized how much he really needed in his life?
I was really eagerly waiting to get Bray’s book. The way that he had treated his father Grayson, and his two “boys” Lars and Sven, was getting on my last nerve and I, like a number of readers I saw post, really, really wanted Bray to be taken down a notch and get his just rewards! I was actually surprised how kind I felt that the author was to Bray, given his past actions, and how I grew to love and respect the way this book turned my heart towards him. But I was even more impressed how Grayson, Bray’s dad, grew throughout this book. I had admired him right from the start. He was a single dad that devoted his life to raising his sons. But watching Grayson’s eyes be opened and, not only seeing things through new vision, but taking what he learned to heart. I think that watching his dad through this did change how Bray originally perceived he needed to act like as an alpha to the new, improved man he became.
Kean was such an honorable person and deserved so much more than how Bray was treating him. Bray’s views of betas and omegas were so skewed and he was a giant asshole who didn’t deserve someone as loving and wonderful as Kean. Add in the fact that Kean wanted more than a quick hop in the sack and they were doomed. Then he discovers Ruari and Jax and it looks like his life is looking up and moving forward so why can’t he get Bray out of his heart and head?
I was worried how I would do with the shifting of Lidon and the way the book was moving. I was fearful that I wouldn’t “get” everything that was happening. I am still a newbie to this genre. Turns out that wasn’t a problem at all. Nora Phoenix is a gifted storyteller and she guides you through the changes so you won’t miss anything by not understanding. The story flowed well and keeps you riveted to the book the entire time. I found myself really frustrated when I couldn’t just sit and read it without interruptions!
This book is jam packed with so many things that I am thankful that the author decided to make Bray, Kean and Ruari’s stories two books. There is so much going on with the pack and we want it all so it made complete sense. I just can’t wait for the next book to get here…hopefully very soon 🤞
