Four humans find their lives are not complete without their dragon mates.
Noah’s watched the dragons for a long, long time now, and he’s not sure what he thinks about them. Are they monsters getting ready to plunder the Earth? Are they planning to help? Are they curious? He doesn’t ever think he’ll get a chance to find out… but when one of Noah’s fellow soldiers trades him to the dragons, Noah finds himself in the care and keeping of a dragon who’s most definitely only interested in finding out as much as he can about humans.
A veteran of the war in search of a hero’s welcome, Collin finds himself S.O.L. The man he could have fallen in love with didn’t come home with him, and Collin’s left without a direction. What does a soldier do when the fight’s over? Why, he finds a new challenge. A dragon. His dragon.
Alan’s an ex-soldier in search of a better life. Traveling as far away from the crowded cities as he can, he finds a small slice of paradise at the ocean’s edge — and Sian, a misfit dragon without a way back home.
Baen’s never met a human, and as a wary, watchful dragon who’s always kept himself to himself, he’s not inclined to like the exuberant frontiersmen and women. Still, he cannot deny an instant connection with Kenth that tempts him to stay with this group of pioneers and create a new life of his own…
The Dragon’s Own boxed set contains the previously released novellas Dragon’s Dare, Dragon’s Delight, Dragon’s Deal, and Dragon’s Devotion.
OVERALL REVIEW:
Not a bad set of short stories. Personally, I would have liked a little more story in the story, but for some sexy good times, these are the way to go!

Noah’s watched the dragons for a long, long time now, and he’s not sure what he thinks about them. Are they monsters getting ready to plunder the Earth? Are they planning to help? Are they curious? He doesn’t ever think he’ll get a chance to find out…
… but he’s wrong.
When one of Noah’s fellow soldiers trades him to the dragons, Noah finds himself in the care and keeping of Zacharei, a dragon who’s most definitely only interested in finding out as much as he can about humans.
Specifically, Zacharei wants to know what sex between humans is all about. It’ll be a lesson neither of them ever forgets.
REVIEW:
Nice little sexy story, but for me it needed more plot. More to the story. It was super hot sex, though.
Noah is captured by fellow soldiers and is going to be traded to the dragons. He has seen them flying for a while but never seen one up close. When he is pushed through the portal, he immediately lands in the cave of a green one with purple eyes. Thinking he is going to be eaten, he is resigned to his fate. But Zacharei makes a deal with him. He won’t eat Noah if Noah teaches him about sex. And now he wonders if it will be worth the risk.
Noah is upset when he is captured. He’s done all he can to help but they turned on him. Throwing garbage at him, dragging him through the streets. He’s in shock. He doesn’t understand how his own people could turn on him. When he meets Zacharei, he’s positive he’s going to be eaten or killed. Zacherai’s compromise shocks him. He gets an even bigger shock afterward. But he has a decision to make and it’s tough. I mean, the bastards turned on him, but can he leave them to lose? Personally, I would. Well…maybe. It’s not a choice I would want to make.
If you are looking for some smoking hot sex, these stories are going to be for you. Delicious shorts leaving you hot and in need of a cold shower. Lol

BLURB:
A veteran of the war in search of a hero’s welcome, Collin finds himself S.O.L. The man he could have fallen in love with didn’t come home with him, and Collin’s left without a direction. What does a soldier do when the fight’s over?
Why, he finds a new challenge. Or, in this case, a challenge finds him. One of the mysterious dragons that appeared during the war to circle the skies snatches Collin from his home and carries him to the dragon lands. The dragon, Zacharei, claims he’s “returning” Collin to his dragon lord. But how can this be, when Collin’s never visited in the first place?
Collin begins to understand when Zacharei leaves him with “his” dragon, Avalier, a beast who’s the exact duplicate of Nyas — and who thinks Collin is his “Kay-lin,” a doppelganger who disappeared during Avalier’s own last battle. Mistaken identity has never been this sexy — and a mix-up has never been so perfect a solution for the lonely hearts of two soldiers.
REVIEW:
This one about made me cry. It had a little more of a story but still not enough for me. I just need a little more. But still steamy!
Collin is so lonely and sick of this war. He lost his best friend, Nyas, with this stupid war and it’s been over a year. He’s positive Nyas is coming home. As he says his goodbyes with a small fire, he is whisked away by Zacharei to the dragon world. He walks a bit to find himself at a small home with delicious smells and a huge man/dragon, who looks so much like Nyas it takes his breath away. But Avalier keeps calling him Kay-lin instead of COL-lin and doesn’t know how to make it right. He figures the ass who left Avalier must be some kind of stupid to leave this beautiful man and he will do anything he can to make sure this dragon never feels lost or lonely again.
Avalier broke my heart in this one. Suffering from effects of war, he has memory lapses. So whether Collin is the right person or not, he feels betrayed and hurt and oh so lonely. And it hurts me because he feels like he is a monster. Also to be left by the douche bag he thinks Collin is….not cool. Avalier did everything that was asked of him and it was never good enough. And Collin made it better. It took some doing on his part, but he brought the smile and life back into Avalier’s eyes and that made it all the better.

Alan was sick of war. He traveled as far as he could and made it to a beautiful spot by the ocean. Peace and quiet and tranquility. But lonely. Until he comes upon a ‘man’ thrashing in the water. Saving Sian gave him company he longed for. He knew Sian was a dragon and it didn’t matter to him. He wasn’t scared. He wanted Sian wholeheartedly. And Sian finally felt at home.

REVIEW:
Kenth has been looking for his ‘mate’ for a long time. His other half. And in those around him, he doesn’t find them. But when he went to check a trap one day, he found a beautiful dragon caught. Doing all he can to keep the dragon calm, he works it’s ankle free. But before he can offer to help, the dragon flies away. And Kenth is so sad. Baen has been watching this human. He’s not very trusting with all he’s been through, but he thinks maybe Kenth might be ok. So he sneaks in at night and seduces him. They realize they need each other and both are claiming mine.
Baen really needed a good man. Having been through so much with wars, including losing his voice, he doesn’t trust. Who can blame him? Kenth knows he somehow leads these people but if they make him choose between he and his mate, he will leave. They both want to trust and be happy. And be accepted for who they are. They just might have finally found it. 😉
