When a painfully shy man enters his wellness center, all Jonah wants to do is help break him out of his shell. The problem is, the attraction he feels to the nervous, timid man is undeniable.
Cameron Vaughn has let most of his life be decided for him. A traumatic event from his past has caused him to doubt every decision he makes. When he’s forced into a new, anxiety-ridden situation, his first instinct is to run. So, what is it about the owner of the wellness center that has him questioning everything he’s ever been told? Can one man convince the other he’s worth saving?
Can the other realize he’s strong enough to save himself? Together, can they prove that what they’ve found is worth holding on to?
REVIEW:
I have fallen in love with every man in this series. Holy crap. I mean ALL of them. And this book made it even better.
When I first ‘met’ all these guys, it was a crazy whirlwind. I didn’t know which way I wanted which guy to go, lol, but they did. And they knew best.
Jonah has been half in love with this adorably sexy Auburn haired man since he first walked in to Jonah’s gym. Well the gym he recently worked at. Now that he has his own, he was afraid he would never see Cameron again. But joy of joys, he came for the grand opening, and now he’s back with a 3 month subscription. Yay for Jonah!
But Cameron is painfully shy and awkward and runs at the slightest thing. But through patience and kindness, Jonah gets Cameron to start breaking out of his shell. And when Cameron opens up, Jonah gets the shock of his life. He never imagined the past that Cameron has had to go through, that has made him the closed off, shy person he is.
But when Cameron gives Jonah the ok for them to try, Jonah is determined to make sure that Cameron never regrets a second of it. He only hopes he can be what Cameron wants and needs, because Cameron is all Jonah wants for the rest of his life.
In the first book, when Owen and Jonah broke up, (sorry if that’s a spoiler…go read it if you haven’t!) and Owen found his happiness, I was heartbroken for Jonah. Yes, it was a mutual break up but still. Jonah wanted the happiness all his friends were getting. He was so lonely and trying to hold it together, but everyone was noticing. But how did he get through to Cameron? And Cameron….that poor sweet man.
So painfully shy and nervous. Terrified really. But Cameron is so brave. He doesn’t feel like it. But little by little he is taking back his life. He was robbed of it in a bad way and since meeting Jonah, he feels like he has more to live for now.
And he stands up for himself. He begins to live his life the way it’s meant to be lived. Man, I was alternating between being so proud and bawling my eyes out. You’ll see. I was so happy for these two.
Yeah they have a hell of a lot to overcome, but both are finally happy. And having Cameron be Cameron made it all worthwhile.
This book and series are exceptional. I have loved every second and every page. I so recommend it to you guys. You will be so happy!
