From EPIC Award winning author and multiple Lambda Finalist L.A. Witt comes the re-release of three hot contemporary novellas — Getting off the Ground, Infinity Pools, and On The List.
After being stood up at the altar, compulsive over-planner Elliott Chandler decides to turn his honeymoon on Oahu into a vacation for one. Fate puts a hitch in his plans, however, when the airport is snowed in and his flight is delayed.
In the terminal, the jilted groom catches the eye of another stranded traveler: the laidback and very sexy Derek Windsor. Derek breaks the ice and strikes up a conversation, and as the temperature drops outside, the heat between them rises. Pity they’re both going to different islands, but if their flight doesn’t get off the ground fast, Mr. Calm-and-Cool may just tempt Mr. Play-It-Safe into doing something reckless.
And that plane isn’t going anywhere any time soon…
OVERALL REVIEW:
This was a good series. I really enjoyed it. I, personally, don’t know if I believe in love at first sight, but I don’t begrudge anyone who does. If you find that special someone, grab on and don’t let go. And that’s what they did in this book. It may have been fast to others, but they knew in their hearts, it was meant to be. No matter how hard things may have gotten, they didn’t give up. That’s what’s important. I think you guys will enjoy this. If you haven’t read it yet, give it a go!

REVIEW:
This not a bad start to this collection.
Elliott is stood up at the altar by his soon to be husband. After meeting back at the house later, they decide it’s seriously over. His ex decided it was too much of a commitment, so it’s over. Elliott decided he needed a break and took the honeymoon tickets and went on vacation. Or he’s trying to. He’s stuck in the airport because of a snow storm. At least he has eye candy to look at. And that eye candy named Derek, wants to speak to him. They speak for hours, while the flight keeps getting delayed, getting to know each other somewhat. When the flight is cancelled for the night, Elliott invites Derek back to the hotel he booked in case of this. Needless to say they spend a wild night together, but decide in the morning they don’t want it to end. So by the book Elliott, changes his hotel and car reservations and opts to stay with Derek on a different island. Maybe this is the beginning of something. But with these two, who knows.
These two cracked me up. Elliott is on the rebound from being stood up at the altar, so his head isn’t on straight. Derek, who swears he will never fall in love and have a relationship, is not wanting to be away from Elliott. He feels a connection. It just cracks me up. I mean these two are swearing off men, more or less, unless it’s to screw, but they feel a connection. But I have to admit when they do get to the hotel, it gets heated and quick. And it’s sexy. Definitely a good way to start.

It started with a snowstorm and ended with a sizzling one night stand, but neither man is ready for it to be over.
Jilted groom Elliott Chandler doesn’t do last minute or impulsive, but at the very last minute, he impulsively changes his flight from Oahu to Maui. What was supposed to be his honeymoon just turned into two weeks with a man he just met.
Derek Windsor is all about last minute and impulsive, but what he doesn’t do is fall in love. He’s a happily promiscuous bachelor and that’s final.
They thought one night together wasn’t enough. Two weeks is going to be more than they bargained for.
REVIEW:
Wow. Things have definitely changed in this book. Derek got more than he bargained for with Elliot. The forever bachelor doesn’t want to be anymore.
For two weeks, everything has seemed blissful. Elliot and Derek have been hiking, went to clubs, seen the sights. They’ve spent a lot of time getting to know each other in and out of the bedroom. During this, Elliot has talked to his ex and has realized he is over it all. And it’s a relief. But what he or Derek either one didn’t plan, was falling for the other. Derek is lost because he’s never felt this way and Elliot is a little unsure after just breaking up with his ex. But they both know they don’t want it to be over. Now it’s time to figure out how to make it work. And see if it can work forever.
This was a good book in the series. Sometimes we just can’t help who we fall for. I’ve always heard of people just knowing when it’s right with someone, that they can’t live without them, and this was one of those. If it wasn’t so sad to see Derek so confused, I probably would have laughed at his situation. The confirmed bachelor falling in love. If that isn’t just a smack in the face. And Elliott….I don’t know if I could be so quick to jump into another relationship so quick, but if it’s true love, who knows. I guess none of us ever knows until it happens to us. If it happen, hold on tight is all I can say. But these guys made an effort to be friends as well. Sure the sex was hot and explosive, but it takes more than sex to keep it going. And they did. They talked about everything. So it made it even more worthwhile.
With the little surprise at the end, I’m ready to see how this ends. I’ve read the blurb for it and it makes me a little sad. Hopefully things turn out for the best. Give this series a try.

In spite of swearing up and down he’s a bachelor forever, Derek Windsor is ready to settle down with Elliott Chandler. After a long distance relationship and a few months of wedding planning, it all comes down to this weekend: a wedding on the Washington coast, then they can start their life together on Maui.
But with the ceremony just days away, Derek’s family drops the bomb: they aren’t coming. They refuse to support or be a part of his marriage to another man. All his life, he’s ached for his parents’ approval, and their last-minute wedding snub leaves him reeling. Though he doesn’t question his love for Elliott, can Derek still go through with a wedding that could irreparably sever his relationship with his family?
REVIEW:
This was, by far, my favorite one out of this series. It was so heartbreaking, though. Most of us, well all of us, yearn to be accepted by someone. Especially our parents….well there are exceptions, yes. And when that doesn’t happen,it’s devastating.
Derek was so happy. He was finally settling down and marrying the man of his dreams. He never thought he would ever get married, much less find someone to marry. But Elliott is his life. The week of the wedding, though, and things aren’t so great. Or they were until HIS family decided they weren’t supporting him and not coming to the wedding because they didn’t like his lifestyle. Derek is beyond hurt. And Elliot, having already been stood up once, gives Derek an out. But Derek realizes what he could really lose if he got out and he doesn’t want to. Now he has to work past his feelings of hurt and betrayal to get on with the happiest day of his life. If he can.
Oh how my heart ached for Derek in this book. To not be accepted by someone, especially you family…..it sucks. The pain is overwhelming. But I was so proud of Elliot in this book. He stepped up and did one of the hardest things. And that right there made all the difference. Love doesn’t come with strings. Or anything bad. It’s supposed to be freeing and happy. And when you have love that’s true, it makes it worth it. Both of them realized they couldn’t be without the other, no matter what.
