Finding Inspiration…
This is one thing I have very little issue with. For me inspiration seemed to come from all around. Sometimes its newspaper stories. A lot of the Carlisle Cops and Deputies books were inspired that way. Works of art have inspired some stories including the early Children of Bacchus books and the Art series. I particularly get inspired when Dominic and I travel. I love setting stories in exotic, interesting locations and with characters that are different from myself.
There have ben times when I’m finding it difficult to get started with a story. At those times O talk with people. My editors, Dominic, and even friends on Facebook. All I need to do is ask for story ideas and I get plenty of them, they come from everywhere. At that point I let my imagination go once again and I’m writing again.
Contemporary Romance/Law Enforcement
The heat is growing from the inside, but danger is building on the outside.
Judge Andrew Phillips runs a tight ship in his courtroom. He’s tough, and when he hands down a sentence, he expects to be obeyed. So when a fugitive named Harper escapes and threatens his life, Andrew isn’t keen on 24-7 protection… especially not from Deputy Clay Brown. They have a past, one that could cause problems in their careers.
But with Clay assigned to Andrew and the two of them together every minute, there’s nowhere to hide from their attraction—or from the fact that there’s much more than chemistry blooming between them. As the threat intensifies, Clay knows he’ll do anything it takes to protect the people who are taking their places in his heart: Andrew and his young niece and nephew.

I haven’t started the Carlisle Cops yet, but I do own them!
Best wishes, Andrew, for the success of Fire and Granite!
I have not as yet read any of the Carlisle Cops book but I have read and enjoyed others.
Congrats on the new addition to the series but plan to.
