New very fast paced short Daddy Kink story.
Avery is the “Twink of Honor” for his best friend since kindergarten. He and Felicity know each other too well. When Avery meets Graham it is instant attraction. The smoking hot Silver Fox is just what he wants and needs. And Graham is right on boat with that idea too. The problem is that he is Carter’s , Felicity’s fiancé’s, gorgeous father. What happens when the “Twink of Honor” and the “Father of the Groom” hookup and it’s obvious this isn’t just a passing fancy?
I liked Avery immediately. He knows what he wants but had thought that it wasn’t ever going to be found. He is attracted to older men and wants someone to take care of him. Graham is on thin ice with his family. His ex-wife has tried everything to destroy his relationship with his kids after he came out of the closet. What he really wants is the beautiful and sassy twink that is his daughter-in-law’s closest and dearest friend. When the men finally realize this fire isn’t going out anytime soon they throw caution to the wind and decide to act on their obvious mutual attraction. Avery’s wildest desires are unleashed that night when he gets his fantasy. And so are Graham’s! This gets me to my issues. These men just met and they are already in over their heads. Plus the whole contorted family issues. When Felicity figures out, over lunch with her new father-in-law, that they hooked up she wasn’t surprised. She new that Graham would be her bestie’s kryptonite. Poor Carter was a bit baffled but I really appreciated that they wanted the best for their family and friend. The whole lying thing really pissed me off. I know that there needed to be angst but that seemed a bit contrived. Graham had the golden opportunity when they were at the spa. But that is what happens when you are fresh into a relationship and you start lying. Thankful Felicity knew Avery as well as she did.
It turns out that this is the opening book for a new series, something I didn’t realized until the very end of the book. It looks as if we are going to get to follow Avery and Graham through their new relationship. I am looking forward to the next book.
