REVIEW:

Ummm…ok. This may be the most hurt I’ve ever been after reading an Adrienne Wilder story. Eh, scratch that…My Brother’s Keeper f’d me up for months afterwards. But…but…Adrienne…why, why, why…?!?!!? So, needless to say what I wanted to happen didn’t happen. So, now I am again the poor pathetic soul I didn’t want to be….waiting…waiting…waiting…! Damn, it’s hard to love this author so friggin much. I kind of love it and hate it too. Guess that means I’m a Doxie…go figure….

Well, again I can’t really divulge much in this review. We still are left with tons of questions but we got some answers and a HUGE mystery was solved. I LOVED how that all came about as well. The ending was sweet, not sure that I’d call it a HFN, maybe CFN(Content For Now), WMITAD(Will Make It Through Another Day), NGOMRTM(Not Gonna Off Myself Right This Minute), BMIBMI(Barely Making It But Making It)….something along those lines.

Some notes I’ll share:

Sonny and I are on speaking terms. I’ll consider forgiveness if Kaleb does.

I LOVE Taurus…have I said that before…yes, yes I have.

Alton is such a conundrum. I wanted to shout, “I BET YOU DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING, YOU JERK!!” But he totally saw that coming….

I want to read the Priest’s book…AFTER Adrienne fixes this hole in my soul!!!

This was amazing, though. I did find myself skimming some of the sex just because I needed more story faster than I needed the sex. WHAT? Who am I?? I know, right? Blame Adrienne.

Worth it and waiting for more.
