Mitch Jackson took a temporary job wrapping gifts at a Manhattan department store so he’d have some extra cash during the holiday season. He didn’t expect to get a bonus in the form of Austin Payne. Their whirlwind romance, touched by the magic of New York in December, soon grows from what could have been only a fling into something more—something like falling in love.
REVIEW:
This was such a sweet little story. And yes, I know we are into spring now, but Christmas can be year round :p . I love that this story was about getting to know you. Getting that connection. Yes there was potent chemistry there but they wanted to take it slow and build something. It’s all about the intimacy. Anyone can have sex.
Mitch was hohumming, trying to get through the holiday season as a gift wrapper. Not the best job, but it pays the bills and a little extra. Plus he gets to check out the hot guys that are last minute shopping. What he didn’t expect was to lose his functionality by gazing into the bluest eyes he has ever seen. He wraps his gift and thinks he won’t see him again. Surprised when he sees him a few days later to wrap another gift. This time he learns his name is Austin. When he sees Austin again, he thinks it’s odd because he has no gifts to wrap. No, he wants to take Mitch on a date. *Gasp* What turns out to be a dinner date out ends up as dinner date in. They can’t resist the temptation of each other as they kiss and kiss, but both want to take it slow. So they decide to end it there and take more dates. Get to know each other. So that what they are feeling doesn’t seem like a fling but more in depth as they are feeling.
Mitch was blown away the minute he caught the gaze of those blue eyes. There was something about him. After he wrapped his gift, he didn’t think he’d see him again, but ole blue eyes keeps popping up. And Mitch is so intrigued. When Austin finally comes back to ask for a date, he’s so nervous and excited. He feels like he may be a little out of Austin’s league, but damn does he want to run his hands all over the man. Each date though, even with the stumbles, are perfect. The chemistry is so intense they can’t keep their hands off each other. But both are determined to wait a bit. Make sure this is really what they are feeling. And it’s so sweet. They touch, hold hands, run fingers through each others hair. It’s so romantic. You can’t help but sigh with love at them.
This is such a sweet one. I really enjoyed it. I think you will too.
I loved this too, Becca!
