Purgatory is where gods go to die, imprisoned for their violent crimes, sentenced to never see the light of day again. Trapped within the stone catacombs are impossible, dangerous, barely human gods.

And with the potent ambrosia Aaron produces, those gods might soon walk free. If they do, blood will rain and hell will be unleashed.
REVIEW:
Ok, so this is the deal…Adrienne Wilder’s Bound Series is comparable to potato chips. You can’t stop at just one, in all likelihood you will eat half the bag if not the whole thing in one sitting, and they are bad for you, so bad!! But so damn good!! This series is the epitome of, “Ok, just one more chapter then bedtime.” Next thing you know it’s 4 in the morning and you need the next book in the series so bad you’re willing to cut someone.
So my thoughts while reading Purgatory alternated between, “oh God poor Kaleb” “I miss Leo” “Oooh Kaleb…” “I could probably handle a Chimera” “Oh my Goodness, I don’t think I can handle a Chimera” “A cow/bull man doesn’t sound half bad.” “Damn Aaron, get it” “God, I love Taurus” “Skin the color of stone….sounds hot…I could get down with that” “What are you thinking Sonny?” “What’s wrong with you Sonny?” “Sonny, seriously get it the f*ck together!” And that’s basically all I can tell you about that.
If you follow the series, which you absolutely have to and go in order or you will be so lost. Turned on, but lost….anyway, we are still kind of left in the dark about what is going on with the Chimera. Obviously as the name indicates this book focused heavily on Taurus and Aaron plus including Malun (Marud’s brother) and his doxie Wren. Totally loved the on page dynamic between Wren and Aaron, reminded me so much of him and Kaleb. We get a little more insight about who is actually in Purgatory and why.
There are still a ton of unanswered questions because, well Adrienne Wilder is just mean….!!
The writing is fantastic and enthralling as usual.
Alton is still up to something, good or bad…I just can’t figure it out.
Sonny is pissing me the F off…I already started God of Monsters…F this kid, for real.
I miss Leo.
I need more…more…more…more….please….
RECOMMENDED!!!
